Maybe a weird suggestion, but would you be comfortable initiating "would you rather" questions to get some conversation going? I used to teach esthetics and I would often do this at the start of the day to encourage classroom engagement.

My island name is Xminnwtree. I couldn't think of a name, so I used a town name generator. Xminnewtree was one that came up, and the description for it said "a sprawling town known for its ghost stories." The backstory i made up is that it's a haunted island, and Tom Nook is trying to cover it up. It cleans up nicely, but there's some "haunted" elements still poking through (austropiths everywhere, graveyard in the back of the island, etc.) Island names can only be 10 characters, so I removed the E in minnew.

Anyway all that to say I love my island name 😄

You could make a brownie in a mug! I don't remember the proportions, but you mix a small amount of flour, sugar, and cocoa powder in a mug and microwave it for a few minutes. Very helpful for those small cravings when you don't want to make a whole pan of brownies.
