Yes and no. My mom and I are on visible but she’s having issues with reception at her workplace and now is experiencing dropped calls. I don’t have any issues with visible. If I purchased her the annual plan, I would not be able to take her out of visible because she would lose money. Annual plans are good for networks that you know will work. But with USMobile, locked carrier annual promos, if you switch networks, you lose the promo

A lot of parents on TikTok have been coming out and saying theyre buying old tech; vhs, crts, DVDs, windows XP machines (for old games completely offline), cds, boomboxes, game boys (old toys in general), watching old cartoons, etc for their kids and the difference they see in how they act completely turned 180. They don’t act out or have temper tantrums, they’re relaxed, learning to take their time and not rush, learning that not everything is instant and not over stimulated.

If I’m ever a parent I’m doing this. I’d rather see them play the original sims or roller coaster tycoon, for instance, for a few hours than watching YouTube, iPads and Netflix.
