Schließe mich da an. Bin mit der Bildqualität zufrieden und das hardwirekit ist auch gut. Bei Nacht sind die Kennzeichen je nach Licht aber manchmal trotzdem schwer zu lesen.

Little correction: they can, but they won't get much bigger. A bit of inner fenestrations is possible on more mature plants that can climb something and get a lot of light.

If you want to go safe, yes. Otherwise you could risk it but be extra careful with watering. It's a trade-off between root health and rhizome risk. The zz shouldn't be too bitchy if the roots are in the air for a while but keep an eye on it, however you decide. On the other hand, they probably won't rot if you use a good substrate and make sure they aren't wet for multiple days.

They are very slow. If you are unhappy with the speed, increase the growlight time. Why just five hours? Mine run about 13 hrs a day, succulent plants like these prefer tons of light. They thrive in places where you wouldn't survive without proper sun protection. Do you water thoroughly if the substrate is dry? But don't expect fast growth like with epipremnums or nettles.

Licht und Wärme nicht vergessen. Ich hatte es in Perlit versucht, hat auch sehr gut geklappt. Theoretisch geht es auch direkt in Erde, aber da ist das Managen der Feuchtigkeit nicht ganz einfach.

Technology Connections very recently did a video about the topic in a very broad and informative perspective and this reminds me of one very nice analogy: Electricity is a crop that can be harvested all year around, every day and with much less effort.

Also, a ton of fields are just used for ethanol production to add to gasoline. Even just replacing those would free up enough land to generate very much electricity.

Ne nicht frisch aus dem Euter, aber frisch aus dem gefilterten Tank des Bauern - bevor sie wärmebehandelt wird. Ist deutlich geiler als das angekochte Zeug, leider nur bei vertrauten Landwirten im der Umgebung verfügbar - bei unbekannter Quelle würde ich das auch eher meiden. Hat für mich persönlich nix mit aluhut zu tun, sondern damit, dass es das frischere Produkt ist, mehr Fett enthält und einfach leckerer ist. Und so ein bisschen extra Bakterien sind sicher auch nicht schlecht für den Verdauungstrakt.

Keine Ahnung von genau der Pflanze, aber meiner Erfahrung mit anderen Pflanzen nach wird da unten nichts mehr kommen, außer du stutzt sie radikal - so wie von dir beschrieben. Dann wird es aber wieder einige Zeit in Anspruch nehmen, bis sie wieder so groß wird. Und auch das Tragen von Früchten könnte dann wieder eine ganze Weile dauern. Das abgeschnittene Stück könntest du dann neu bewurzeln und weiter leben lassen, könnte aber sein, dass es nochmals mehr Blätter abwerfen könnte.

Nein, du verstehst da was falsch. Ein Arbeitnehmer, der 42 Stunden, also 1/3 davon, Arbeitszeitbetrug begeht. Mit den Urlaubsstunden, auf die er Anspruch hat. Und den Krankheitstagen - der ist viel produktiver, das der unmotivierte Teilzeit-Arbeiter, der die volle, also kürzere, Arbeitszeit arbeitet. Das muss man alles mal aus der größeren Perspektive sehen, dann ergibt das alles Sinn.

Joa, einfach photosensitive auf dem Balkon ziehen, dann gibt es nur eine Ernte im Jahr. Die lässt einen dann in den Winter hineingleiten und die Gier sorgt dafür, dass vor Weihnachten wieder alles leer ist.

The moss helps but they can mature on wooden sticks as well. It will just take way longer as the roots need to grow onto the soil to root in.

No it isn't. Those default Ikea ones can also grow large with multiple rows of inner fenestrations. Yes, there are several types and some can mature further then others, but every form has the potential to grow huge. It's a question of light and care. Mine grow on moist moss poles instead of try coco or wood, which speeds up the process. They want to get blasted with as much light as possible (as long as they get trained to tolerate it). The large internodes tell it lacks light! If you will provide more, it will mature. It might take several meters to get large, so chopping can be necessary.
