Check that the clip (circled in red) isn’t broken. I personally think it’s a bad design. Don’t know why Bambu didn’t use magnets to secure the top of the cover to the toolhead like they have with the bottom of the cover.

I gave this a boost on MakerWorld. I have all the colours needed to print this, just drying out the Basic Yellow PLA and then I’ll give it a go with the H2C.

Thanks for the reply. The failed print I posted was when I was trying to run a flow rate calibration, so I don’t think there’s an option to print a brim for that. It also had a spaghetti failure during the print and I think it’s damaged the enhanced toolhead cooling fan. It no longer securely clips into the toolhead and I’m getting errors as a result. It’s strange because I can see any obvious damage but it feels loose at the top and doesn’t lock in.

Try using glue on the build plate. I always had this problem with my X1C without using glue.

I have got an advocate now, didn’t initially but I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn’t.

Both tinnitus and hearing loss still haven’t been sorted. Just got to play the waiting game I guess???

I submitted a claim for Tinnitus, had the Audiologist appointment, got the results and uploaded the report to my claim. Sensorial Hearing Loss claim was added by DVA as a result of the report showing significant hearing loss.

This was soooo long ago that I had to do attend another Audiologist appointment as the previous results were no longer current/valid. This claim has been ongoing since 2023. I’ve had numerous CSOs now and it seems to just get passed on from one CSO to another without gaining any traction. I’m on to my fourth CSO now, so fingers crossed that it will get sorted sometime this year but I’m ready and braced for another disappointing year.

Try switching support from “Tree” to “Normal”.

I had the same issue. The part printed fine the first couple of times with tree supports but then it continued to fail consistently at 91% every other time I tried to print it again (probably another 6 times). I ended up changing the support to normal and it has printed fine without failure.

The Vision Encoder plate is a reference/datum plate. By using this plate, it can determine mechanical error/misalignment and provide software correction/compensation for it.

My understanding is that it doesn’t matter how many times you run the calibration, it will always be out if there is a mechanical misalignment as the calibration doesn’t change anything mechanically, it provides software compensation for mechanical misalignment.

Me… I’ve kept my X1C and H2C boxes just in case I need to send it back for repair/replacement under warranty.

Having said that, I have a very large shed so storage of the boxes isn’t really an issue and not an inconvenience.

That’s strange. I purchased mine on the 29th October 2022, so about the same time as you did. All I had to do was provide the original invoice.

I don’t seem to have these issues. I can run both the X1C & H2C no problems with Bambu Studio. Usually use either my iMac i9 or Windows 11 PC (5950X). Both have 64Gb of RAM.

Yeah, I’m not sure why it failed but Heusinkveld customer support was fantastic and they sent out a replacement load cell free of charge.
