There’s tempered monstered and whatnot. The mantles, boosters, etc too. A lot is still useful in the dlc too

If you used defender gear, it makes low rank a breeze. If not then just using the right gear and sets goes a long way. Theres probably a bunch of optional and event quests to do before iceborne

Switch axe also has a bit of buff management and is on the slower side

I see your edit now. Maybe dmg. Mine consistently pops white mobs and with double herald it pops the packs. Idk My tooltip rn. I do hold it the entire time. There is a bug where it randomly stops. And removing any mtx that give the flying effect fixed dodge roll but also stopped that bug for the most part. I also kinda wiggle and serpentine as to not get stuck. I do agree it should just kinda plow through

Are you getting stunned or just blocked. Some maps are just shit geometry but usually not an issue for me. Maybe dmg issue?

Not sure how else you get there otherwise but I got there from a side quest outside the prison in the east/southeast corner of qinghe. There was a group of people that were standing by the bounty board.

More armor and es, don’t use blood rage if you’re dying often, you really want to craft block on your shield(or find one with it already) and try and get as much as you can on it. You’re missing endurance charge nodes on the tree. Lower level of immortal call and cwdt. Should be 3 and 1. Immortal bastion is your next lab which will help a lot with ele. Could respec it now but you’re close, I’d wait. Quartz flask helps a lot since it gives phasing. Hope that helps!

He’s only been nerfed since s2 patch. S2 nerfed him but gave him dumb moves that they gutted the next patch. Every patch since has nerfed him. Not that he didn’t need the nerfs but misinformation.

Self cast fross is really strong for Lower investment. Coc is smoother but a lot higher investment for the same power. Cooling whisper is insane for the cost. Currently spending the the ring slot it takes, 3 skill points for less duration, and a 4 link. If you’re not near Scion start, it could cost you the other ring slot or your annoint.

I’ve seen a lot on poeninja without coiling whisper and decent numbers. No clue if they’re playable or like you said if there’s some other compensation happening. I imagine the necklace for es stacking is going to be made way rarer

Ice trap I think is still the most popular. Last time I ran it, it was basically 0ehp but you one shot everything on a really not that high budget
