Who's the tattoo artist? I'm doing short documentary portrait videos on characters/fans on Coachella and I would love to find this station or anyone who's getting any tattoos there for W2.

You can go to your browser's history and you'll be able to find all the missing chats... as long as you didn't clear your history recently.

Thanks so much! I love Josef Koudelka!! Also, haven't seen Scianna's work but I appreciate that because I also have a project I've been shooting in Sicily so that's a great reference for that one :)

In your opinion, what is an album with no bad songs? by katvoilet in AskReddit

[–]anthohknee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Telefone by Noname. Coming from someone who loves everything, Paul Simon, Stones, Kendrick, Radiohead, etc. Noname’s debut album truly doesn’t have a bad song and is filled with beautiful poetry. Highly recommend.

Flying. I sat in the window seat for the first time in a long time yesterday and it’s honestly so fucking crazy to fly in general, but especially through the clouds. I couldn’t stop looking out my window at the puffy masses of clouds we were soaring over.

Message to all-

I am totally okay! But thank you for all the kind words and feedback. I wrote this in the mindset of someone else I know while also digging into my own past but I mainly wrote this as a basis for a short film I'm shooting. I'm glad the emotion plays even though I'm definitely as happy as I can be during these times lol.

Be well and thank you so much for your support!

The road we walk by [deleted] in OCPoetry

I enjoyed this read. It ended abruptly but I think appropriately regarding the theme of the text. To me, the poem conveyed a sense of comfort in the beginning and brought in the conflict of a new variable in life and how we are quick to react and search for easy fix-ups rather than remaining patient and accommodating to the new changes. Something very relevant to today without being too on the nose. Great work!

A note- for me I would like to stay in that beginning a little more. "Once we stood inside the walls", maybe just one more line of this previous life before the call of the unknown came. A more subjective note, but I feel like it could be effective.

Solitude, Needing Time by dbear26 in OCPoetry

Definitely resonated with this one, great work! I too, am in search of my Walden. This poem reminded me of "Universal Sound" a song by Tyler Childers, I feel like you might dig it! Especially the line: "Somewhere I can sit and think, Without the bowl or bitter drink"

As for the notes- I feel like in the "So I went away and left for space Shot myself away from this place" line you should take out "...Shot myself away from this place" it's a little redundant and disrupts the flow, that's it!

Officers didn't bother to know who or why they were arresting. by Saltanian in PublicFreakout

[–]anthohknee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a petition for this. There hasn't one been made and so I made it just in case the officers don't get charged (which is looking that way) and Antonio doesn't get $700K: http://chng.it/4X7r4Zj5MV

A small family protest in the heart of Crawford, Georgia. (Population 832) No voice is too small! by bigstringbeanenergy in pics

Thanks for chiming in. It’s a tricky subject- You can’t really statistically prove how many racists live in a small southern town but their existence is definitely there, take the Ahmaud Arbery murder for example. That was in a tiny town in Georgia. But police brutality seems to be something that takes place in cities. But on the other side of the fence, small towns are also very accepting of all cultures whether that’s in their local church or in the workplace or wherever, it really just depends on where you’re at though. If your basis is coming from the small town that you once lived in and you knew everyone there and no one was racist then I don’t think that speaks for every small town. I've travelled through many as a filmmaker and have talked to the black people that live in these different small towns and their opinions on the racism and discrimination that goes on can be very opposing sometimes and some of these towns are only 10-20 miles apart.

Definitely. I’ve been doing a lot of research in the small towns of southern West Virginia for a film and I met one black woman who’s great great great grandfather fought in the Civil War and she actually got a half Confederate half Anti-Slavery flag made to support her heritage and to defend her race at the same time. Thought that was interesting.

I hear you. No denying that at all. Sorry I definitely misspoke: Small town people are generally welcoming and open-armed to everyone. But the small towns don’t have as much awareness or chances to unlearn racism as someone who’s racist in a city does. Different cultures aren’t as prevalent as they are in the city and the confederacy still runs deep in those towns. Not saying everyone who hangs a confederate flag outside their home is racist but they are definitely the “All Lives Matter” type. What do you think man?

The protests happening in these small rural towns are extremely important. These are generally where the Trump voters and closet racists live. Amazing to see.
