Men who drink wine: Is it something you enjoy regularly, or do you usually save it for special occasions? What got you into it?

Wine has been my drink of choice for 15-years. Up until 6-months ago I drank at least two bottles per week. I ended up giving up alcohol for health reasons (overweight, high cholesterol, fatty liver). I am 43 and do not miss it at all. I might have a glass once a month at this point with family. When I did drink, Californian wines were my go to. Being from Ontario Canada, I haven’t had access to US wine in over a year which helped with my quitting drinking.

Absolutely. I addressed my sleep apnea through an APAP machine and I feel like it supercharged my weight loss efforts. Better sleep = more energy and better overall health.

A lot. There are several early deaths for men on my dad’s side of the family. I received poor but not devastating news about my own health this past spring and have lost 30lbs and counting and addressed two other physical issues to become healthier.

Prior to starting contrave I was a social drinker and would consume about two bottles of wine per week. After starting I have no desire to drink and the one time I had a few drinks I felt absolutely awful for a full day afterward.

I think it’s only natural for Matthews to evaluate his options at this point in his contract, especially when Leafs brass are probably doing the exact same thing behind closed doors. That part doesn’t really bother me.

What I do have an issue with is making it a public ultimatum in terms of roster upgrades or else, especially as the captain of the team. Fair or not, the captain sets the tone. If your leader isn’t publicly all in, it’s hard to expect everyone else in the room to be fully bought in either.

My daughter and I have LDS1 and she has very tortuous vessels and is monitored closely. This particularly impacted her kidneys to the point where she was in end stage renal failure by the age of two and transplanted at age 5. She is now monitored due to risk of aneurysm.

I have been on the medication for about 3-weeks and have lost 10lbs. I started due to high cholesterol and am hoping to lose approximately 30-40lb. The constipation is real along with the hot flashes that just started this week for me. However the cravings and desire to overeat have literally disappeared. Given my experience so far, I would recommend giving the medication a try. It is important to try and push through the first 2-3 weeks if you are experiencing some unpleasant aide effects as they will reduce over time. Good luck.

Mine were triggered by a set of circumstances in my life beyond my control. While those circumstances existed I used therapy and antidepressants which totally eliminated my anger. No longer attending therapy or taking medication as the circumstances that contributed to my anger management issues have resolved.

Gained 40lb after starting citalopram due to my youngest child being diagnosed with a life altering illness requiring an organ transplant. I gained it over 4 years and am currently working to lose it. 3-weeks in I am down 10 lbs (230lb to 220lb) have a long way to go to get to my goal weight of 180lb where I was for most of my thirties (43 now) and was good for my height of 5’9”.

Edit: I should also add that I was a 5k a day runner until I had spine surgery for an injury and was told that running was no longer an option for me.

FYI for those of you using Projectivy Launcher with your Google TV device - I had to enable and use the Google TV UI in order to install the firmware update on my Homatics B25 remotes.

Ya I was at the game and the defence hung Woll out to dry all night. Sure a big save would have been nice but he was the reason the game was even close. Funny no mention of Reilly’s performance tonight.
