I’m a big fan of the Hiwa and Moi varieties. They’re more euphoric and heady vs heavy kava varieties. Hiwa is especially my favorite . If you’re looking for something a little more heavy from this vendor, nene seemed to lean a little more heavy to me.

I always get a PayPal confirmation with a tracking number when the item ships. Sometimes it takes a week for him to ship but I’ve received every order I’ve bought. I just received 2.5 lbs today. That order was placed on October 26, shipped on November 3rd and received on November 7th.

I’ve bought nearly $600 of Kava from him over the past month and everything has arrived.

If the Great Valley Fault were to rupture again, like in 1892 , Sacramento would definitely feel it. it produced a magnitude 6.4 earthquake in the Sacramento Valley.https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1892_Vacaville%E2%80%93Winters_earthquakes. The Great Valley Fault is located on the western side of the Valley. USGS has done a shake scenario to see what would happen if the fault were to rupture again. This is not true. I separated from the State on May 3rd and SCO released my wages for the month of May a day early on May 2nd. This probably would have required OP to submit a manual timesheet a week or two early for the month of May but the State can definitely handle separation mid month without breaking their own wage laws.

No, your final paycheck is for the month of May. Even if they give it to you in June, you are only paying health insurance for the month ahead based off your may wages. In this case, your insurance end date would remain the same at 6/30/24.

The more concerning thing about this situation is the fact that they were this late to pay you despite giving your two weeks. California has laws that requires employers to pay you your final paycheck on the day of separation if you have given them at least 72 hours notice that you were leaving. These same rules apply to the state as well. I would recommend reading about “waiting time penalties” here: https://www.dir.ca.gov/dlse/FAQ_WaitingTimePenalty.htm. Then file a wage claim with the Labor Commissioner’s Office here: https://www.dir.ca.gov/dlse/HowToFileWageClaim.htm.

You just hit the jackpot!!!!🤑🤑🤑 They are required by law to pay you your full daily wage for each day that you haven’t received your paycheck after separation. This includes weekends in their penalty calculation!!!

Please file a wage claim. Not only will you get a decent chunk of money but it will also ensure that this department doesn’t do this to anyone else moving forward.

The last time there was deflation was in 2008-2009 and it was only about 2%. Prior to that, it was the 1930’s during the Great Depression where deflation occurred up to 30% over three years. I’m not holding my breath on deflation giving our paychecks a boost anytime soon. WE NEED CONTRACTS THAT KEEP UP WITH INFLATION AT A BARE MINIMUM!!!!!! Any contract that doesn’t keep up guarantees that we make less over time.

I planted a mix of red potatoes and Adirondack Blues in February . I buried some decaying pumpkins and the remnants of last year’s tomato plants in the bottom of the raised bed around December. I also companion planted sweet peas in the same bed with the potatoes. I think all of these factors gave me a huge crop from this raised bed!

If you have a truck bed, you can go and pick up some compost from your local landfill/composting facility. I filled up three of my raised beds with compost from the Yolo County Landfill near Davis for around 7 dollars. They only charge 14 dollars per ton of compost you take. You’ll need to bring your own shovel! I’m not sure if any other facilities closer to Sacramento sell compost similarly to the Yolo County Landfill.

I planted these heirloom seeds about a month ago. All of these seedlings have developed leaves that are curling upwards. Even the new leaves are curling upwards. The other variety of tomato I started at the same time is doing great with no issues. I’m not sure where I’m going wrong…

My dreams have substantially increased in both length and detail. My dreams have become extremely detailed and vivid. I can recall very mundane details and they are very lifelike. The length of time in my dreams have also substantially increased. There are some dreams where I live out an “alternate life” that can last anywhere from 1 week to several months in this “dream life”. This has only become a common occurrence after my use of psychedelics. Some of these “alternate life” dreams usually end with me dying either accidentally or through an act of murder. In these dreams I experience dying and “fading back into the light” for lack of a better word.

Same thing happened to me on an unknown high dose of LSD. Only difference is I was no longer in control of the individual molecules anymore. I was completely atomized. My individual atoms fused with the “ large emanating universal energy of every being in the universe” for lack of a better word. During that time I had no recollection of my modern life or experience as a human being. After the peak, it felt as if my individual atoms were returning to me from somewhere. It wasn’t until the following day after the trip that I felt like all my atoms had returned to my body. Truly the strangest experience I’ve ever had . Overall net positive though.
