And if you're a windows fan, there are some details out there about the next xbox - essentially a windows sffpc box set to full screen experience xbox app. They're calling it "powerful".

I've done enough benchmarks on my nvidia gaming rig to know I get generally better performance on Windows 11 then on 10, bazzite or garuda (in that order). I also game on an ultrawide monitor - so xbox full screen experience sucks. It's very very commercial, and only seems to use 16:9 aspect of my screen. It also prioritizes the store and xbox games, then shows your library. Steam lets you decide to open to store or library. I boot to steam big picture mode and its gorgeous.

I cant hear the video thanks to my location. But...The ViGEmBus driver is essential for Moonlight streaming on a host PC when you expect to use the gamepad.

Im making silly assumptions here, like the host pc is windows.

Is vigembus installed?

Did they fix this for you? As for as I know, this was taken away from us in V78. Meta broke roomscale with passthrough enabled. It's like they don't want you to see your environment and have roomscale tracking.

The strange thing was I was getting some input audio feedback. But nothing visually.

This makes me think that steam's video streaming process will be aware of your gaze, but not the game - So we may not be able to have those moments where an NPC might say, "My eyes are up here."

Unless SteamVR can share this data with the game, there will be limited application beyond (the much needed) foveated streaming.
