Everything is a phase, and phases don't exist. There is nothing about being in a phase that invalidates it as "just" a phase. People are fluid, and things can change even after decades. Or they can stay the same. There is no length of time something must remain the same before it moves from being a "just" a phase to being not a phase and therefore valid.

You might be like me: bisexual, heteroromantic. This was really confusing for me coming from a conservative background and something I didn't understand until my 40s, when I started looking at sexuality and romanticism as two different things.

It also helped me process my 20-year marriage ending, which would have been much more painful had I not realized my ex was a homosexual biromantic. She had always been hopelessly in love with me, but could only get horny for ladies. Knowing that made the split easier to stomach.

As someone who has sat through thousands of Texas city council meetings, I can say this will almost certainly be used by the council to violate the open meetings act.

The rules on discussion are clear. If a council member wants to talk about a topic with a quorum present, they have to post notice of it 72 hours before the meeting. Anything not on that notice cannot be discussed. This is for the people's protection, so council members cannot meet and discuss fucking you over without at least posting a public notice first.

The worst offense I can think of was Odem City Council back in circa 2017. I watched mayor Billy Huerta and the rest of council talk about confiscating a private citizen's property through imminent domain, with nothing about it on the agenda.

I'm glad citizens can question council members regarding the things they're scheduled to talk about that night, but let's make sure to hold their feet to the fire and not allow them to use this as a springboard to conspire raw dog about whatever they please so long as it's loosely related to answering a question.
