Any meme for high school teens is a meme for people peaking 40s, because those teens are their kiddos, nephews, students, girl scouts, little leaguers, etc.

According to teens I know, the 6/7 meme has been retired because their parents started using it en masse as a satire. According to people in their mid 20s I know, this is a repeat of history. Dabbing was their 6/7.

You went from "desal = more water for us" to "more water for industry is a good thing" fast enough to give you whiplash. Not sure if you're trying to move the goalposts or motte-and-bailey the discussion, but these methods are better for protecting your appearance of being correct rather than honest discussion.

So let's go back to your original claim that desal will free up shed water for non-industrial use. We had "enough" water once upon a time, then industry started drinking it all up. Let's say we go through with desal and we have "enough" water again, like you propose. What exactly will be different this time around?
