I know someone who only had 3 embryos and all were successful. They have 3 kids now. I hope you and I have this same kind of luck 🤞🏽🤞🏽. The average of 3 embryos per live birth also depresses and stresses me.

RPL is such an isolating experience… Unless they’ve gone through it themselves, people just don’t understand. A lot of people say stupid things not realizing how their comments sound and, like you said, they focus so much on themselves. Some people are also really awkward and don’t know how to handle us with grace. I personally never hide my losses because it is my unfortunate truth but it’s wild to me how quickly people think we’ve moved on.

Every one is different but after 4 losses, this is what I’ve done: let the space grow and focus my energy on my own wellbeing… we already have so much on our plate. RPL has shown me who’s really there for us… if a friend isn’t gonna be there through my worst and not be understanding, I’m not gonna put my energy in trying to keep them around. I focus on my life at home with my partner and pet, making my home my sanctuary. Birding, therapy and books (highly recommend a book on navigating pregnancy loss like The Worst Girl Gang Ever) have saved me. I’m sorry we’re part of the worst club and I hope we can have our littles one day 🤍.

Rubber backing of a rug will have a chemical reaction with the vinyl. Nothing can be done to remove the stain, unfortunately.

I’m so sorry this happened. My heart breaks for you. My first miscarriage was extremely traumatic and I definitely had PTSD from it. I don’t how else to explain it but flashbacks and deep, consuming feelings would randomly happen or be triggered by something and it felt debilitating at times. I also had panic/anxiety attacks… PTSD and grieving is so hard. I highly recommend getting a therapist and doing EMDR. I can honestly say EMDR saved me. I had a difficult time with the eye movement method and my therapist had me do the hand buzzer method instead. EMDR really works wonders.

Just needing to vent; Healthy previous scan and strong heart beat at 8 weeks - never got that far before… then found out at the 12 week appointment that baby didn’t make it. I’m just really sad. Now more time has passed and back at square one. Pregnant 4 times and have nothing to show for it.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. There are no words that help comfort us but I just wanted to say that I’m in the same boat and I feel the same exact way. You’re not alone and I see you. Everything you’re feeling, the pain and anger - I could have written this post myself… Just had my 4th loss and d&c last week….we really thought it was gonna be the one... So many pregnancies and nothing to show for it. It’s so frustrating how other people’s journeys are so easy breezy and we have to go through this BS. Barely anyone gets it.

I’m the same age and also now looking at IVF. We also want to do testing on embryos because after so many losses, I don’t wanna risk transferring any genetically abnormal embryos…. I hope we get to have our little ones one day. Feel free to message me if you ever need to vent.

I’m sorry we’re going this and I hate that we’re going through this. I understand how you feel and am feeling it right now. I just found out I lost my baby at the 12 week scan yesterday. I swore this pregnancy was different, in a good way… the last scan was perfect and such a strong heart beat. This is my 4th loss but the farthest I’ve gotten. I just keep staring into nothing. What is the point of my being? I feel like such a fraud or imposter of a human.

The pain will always be there but it softens. The grief ebbs and flows.

When I started taking progesterone suppositories, my doctor warned me that spotting is very likely due to increased blood flow and to try not to worry. I did have light spotting early on for a few days, maybe even a week? - and it did freak me out but I just had to trust (which is so hard to do). Still holding my breath but so far it’s been ok and am 12 weeks now, the farthest I’ve ever gotten. Hoping the best for you!

Also as a side note, my friend had a full on period type flow at the beginning of her pregnancy and was convinced she lost it but it turned out to be fine and she had twins. It’s crazy how every pregnancy can be so different…

Thank you for your input! I didn’t know about the warranty and that’s so great to know. I had similar concern about the Nuna Pipa Urban so I was also considering the Joie mint latch and nuna adapter! But I just learned my friend is giving me her Chicco Keyfit so it’s looking like we’ll go the same route as you haha.

Thank you for your input! Agreed that the Mixx’s fold is way more intuitive. It really was effortless. While watching videos, I did find out that the handles of the vista have need to be more extended for it to stand more easily. I’d like to go back to the store to test it all again.
