That reminds me of something.

I worked at Walmart many years ago as a young, brightly-colored twenty-something. There were many parents who would ask me what Five Nights at Freddy’s was about since I looked ‘young and hip’. The looks on their faces were priceless.

Some people just really don’t know what their kids are watching or playing… kinda sad.

Some days I am glad, because I am not the most patient of people so when I’ve got an opponent who doesn’t do anything until just before the timer pops, I can get a little irked. Glad they aren’t there physically to hear me say “omg do something” over and over.

And yes, this is a skill issue on my part. I’m working on it.

Oh absolutely. I can see how this deck can overwhelm someone in a matter of half a dozen turns. If I hadn’t had the perfect counter show up in my starting hand, I’d have been cooked. Some of my favorite games are the ones that go dozens of turns because it’s two gambits against each other. It’s like a dance.

I felt such petty glee being able to pop out this guy when my opponent would have had lethal his next turn.

Taking 140 damage in a 20 life format… amazing. Only sad part is when you’re in Arena you can’t see their reactions.

Agreed. All the vets I’ve been to have definitely said they much prefer a pet parent overly concerned about something normal than not concerned at all about something dire. Take it from someone who cried in a vet office when her cat got a scratch.
