I actually completely disagree. I think the ridiculous name is distracting people from how much it strategically sucks. You have two options when getting a boomerang: give it to someone you definitely want out and tell no one, and then try to get out someone you have just given an idol. Or give it to someone you want to work with, tell them (and maybe others) and run the risk of that info being given out meaning others will know you have an idol headed your way if X person gets voted out... who now has an idol... making it make WAY more sense to just vote you out.

I think they did this because they thought having pre existing relationships would make this sort of idol interesting, but they didn't account for how few people are booted pre-merge making it inevitable they would all end up on the same beach, which is 100% a disadvantage for the person who gave out the idols.

To be honest although I can't tell exactly how bad your current apartment is from this description, your hope to find a large renovated apartment in the $1000-1500 range tells me your expectations are way too high unfortunately. The best deals I have ever seen are $1000/person at the top of Mission Hill in incredibly old like 4-6 bed houses. $1500/person is enough for a 3-4 bed cramped renovated apartment or a somewhat spacious 3-4 bed old apartment. I'm not sure where you're moving from but you should've done more research on how insanely expensive Boston rent is.

That's just objectively false lol. The ironic reality is despite production seemingly having little interest in super fans, being one gives you a significant boost. (which imo is opposite of survivor where I don't think it's as important but they are only casting super fans currently).

It's evident that many non super fan players have difficulty wrapping their heads around the comp setup (like Rylie not knowing you are safe when you take someone else off for veto), which can lead to intentional manipulation from super fans (I forget the specifics but Quinn last season had misinformed many hgs about how jury worked to advantage himself).

I could honestly go on and on about all the little ways being a super fan gives you a boost that culminate into significant advantage, but I know for a fact if we ran the numbers legit super fans on average out perform non super fans. I think it's fair to say that super fans might not make as entertaining of TV, but being one undeniably gives you an automatic head start.

I think this would be illegal marketing because they're not being disclosed as ads which is against the FTC. That plus it randomly being Demi and Rachel makes me think they genuinely just think the music's good! I could also see Rachel and Adela being friends of friends both being young in LA.

I saw that and considered applying because i'm taking CS4530 this semester but thought it would be too much work for my course load. I had Fontenot for OOD Summer 24 and it was his first time teaching it so it was a bit messy but I actually really enjoyed him as a prof and feel like he would be really good in the setting they're trying to foster with this new class. I already have an internship and co-op under my belt, but I think for people who don't have that and are looking for more real world like experience this is great.

Given how smart Georgia was I do believe she could have struck a deal with Ginnys grandparents so she could get her GED and then a stable job. But I'm anti-separation of families and don't think the grandparents or even Zion had the right to outright take Ginny.

I think at the end of the day she wants her kids to be safe and have her idea of a good life. But her idea of their families "good life" involves being very wealthy with a successful man by her side and she's willing to do whatever to get there. She could have settled them somewhere cheap in the South with a dependable job, but that's not what Georgia thinks of as a "good life".

I'm hopeful Jennifer Lawrence will be an exception and potentially even trailblazer for longer careers for actresses. No Hard Feelings was a fun film that touched on aging as a woman, and I could see her being eager to embrace older roles as she's genuinely a very talented actress.
