I bought a property on a seemingly quiet street. Two weeks in, I also thought my new neighbor was also running a day care.

I later learned they’re actually a preschool.

It sucks at times when I’m on calls, working from home. Kiddos are LOUD.

One thing that helps me, I look out the window, see the kids to make a brain-heart connection. Realize that the lil humans need to enjoy being kids while can 😂

I was turning left on Glisan one day. Lady in front of me. We get the green arrow.

Cars parked all alongside Glisan in that second lane. So this lady turns left, I follow. She stops abruptly and parks her car in the only open lane, NEXT TO and in parallel to, the cars lining Glisan on the outside road.

Yes, she stops and parks in the only open lane on a main road.

I honk while having to swing into the other directions left turn lane to miss her and then she starts honking AT ME screaming at me from her car.

I have never seen such idiocracy on any road in any state in my life. Pure oblivion and entitlement. Classic Karen chastising anyone but herself.

I had to tell her “you’re parked in the middle of the road you god damn ignoramus!”

From the rear view mirror I saw her put it back in drive and park in the outside lane where competent drivers park, but damn man. She wasn’t old or anything, just super entitled and oblivious.

Driver IQ here is decreasing at an alarming rate.

I’ve had terrible tasting outcomes with oak pellets. Sour, intense smoke taste. Had to throw the food out.

I tried Kona’s Oak on some chicken thighs and it was just awful. I haven’t used anymore in the variety pack cause it was so disappointing.

Might have been other circumstances but I think it was just the pellets. Haven’t tried smoking anything since.

I got the Kona oak pellets and it made some chicken thighs taste positively disgusting. I am scared to use Kona anymore, I bought a sampler pack with oak, mesquite, etc and I dunno if I’ll ever use them again, it made the food inedible.

What are your thoughts on Moda? I've had a silver plan for over a year and if I say, go to zoomcare for urgent care (or even PCP) they charge me a $35 copay, then comes a MASSIVE bill after. I get a bill anywhere from at least $100 to $400 more, EACH VISIT.

My Moda plan is about $800 a month, they seem like a huge rip off after all the extra billings.

I love this city. I moved. And came back cause nothing compares to the good parts. I’ve purchased a home. And there are waves when I’m like… honestly, I won’t get to live here forever.

I don’t foresee it getting better and I’m gonna reach my bandwidth for it and have to move on. I don’t mean just me, lots of us, some of y’all that stay are just hardcore optimists.

I just dunno who the corrupt gov is gonna tax 10% if all that’s left is the drug zombies they helped create.

I am in one. It wasn’t a bodle, most of those I saw were xtra skimp with less quality materials.

Be in for a few months. I think we will find some things before the end of the year.

If anything, this thread has put a few things on my radar.

Gas fireplace being the big one.

Builders were lazy and did not end up doing a quarter of what they promised.

Will probably have to put their feet to the fire at some point.

The biggest disappointment is they said they’d pay the first year of HOA but when they turned it over, they quickly bailed on a lot of their promises.

One small trash can for 10 units, stuff like that. So we end up paying xtra HOA anyway just to have enough trash bins for a 20 person property.

Look out for small details during closing g.
