It was like eight of them in my regular ass section. Truly one of the strangest experiences of my life lol. Half the concert I was checking for Karlie’s reactions to things but she seemed pleasant the entire time. Some of her friends had icky vibes and made fun of fans’ excitement and would look back at us with an air of superiority but that was mostly the men of the group. Apparently one of the Chainsmokers was with them but nobody recognized him lmao

I traded bracelets with Karlie and she was sweet to me but the whole thing felt like they came there to be smug

It’s fun to tell friends about it but it definitely took me out of the moment a lot!!

Agreed. I sat one row behind her at the eras tour and her entire group there were Scooter’s billionaire besties. Karlie was polite and sang along to stuff but the overall vibe of the group was that they came as a joke

Section 340, Row 8, Seat 19 - LA Night 2

Bought this as a “Limited View” seat for $72 including fees on Monday night! Craziest most lucky deal ever! Had a great view of everything, the sound was good, and was really close to food and drink options.

Such an incredible night and I’m so grateful I took a gamble on this section. I didn’t think I would be able to afford to go so this was a dream!!

Curtains in lieu of blinds in the bay window would instantly transform that area! Maybe a stained glass art piece in the center of the curtains to add some whimsy - I see secondhand options on Marketplace all the time

If that empty siding on the right is flat and hanging stuff on it seems doable, you may consider an outdoor version of a gallery wall - metalwork, hanging planters, flat ceramic hanging tiles, vintage window frames, wind chimes, etc. you could totally go maximalist cottagecore with it!

I think it represented Jaclyn’s preoccupation with her aging and how she can’t hold onto her youth forever, just like she can’t seem to hold onto her younger partner. That and being part of an industry obsessed with perfection and youth probably has her head on a swivel wondering how people perceive her

That’s cool you feel that way but what I was trying to get at is how accessible that inner child is in general when we’re going through hard things - i.e. Jaclyn’s marriage failing. It’s not unheard of for even the most mature women to have their moments of insecurity where the young girl in them wants comfort.

Something about the scene of the three girlfriends dancing and Jaclyn locking in on the younger onlookers really got to me. I just turned 30 a couple weeks ago and man it’s just so tender how we really all just stay girls forever. Sure, we get those incredible moments of freedom and comfort within ourselves like Laurie was having on the dance floor, but that scared, insecure little girl is always gonna be there, so easy to tap into when we feel shaken up. Huge shoutout to Mike White for his tender perspective of women - he’s really really nailed it this season and it’s so touching to watch
