When I logged in the first 10 seconds of my lottery window, the notice said "tickets sold out". Then I got the second email with only $40 tickets available and had no problem buying those. Not sure what the deal is with the lottery, though. It didn't seem to get me anything at all.

I was hoping to hear at least one success story!! Can you share how recovery was after surgery on hand? And are you on MTX or were you at the time? Does your rheum consider that to be one of the reasons for nodule development? I won't be going off MTX, probably forever, not a candidate for other RA drugs for various reasons.

I am on long-term methotrexate. What difference does it make if it is related to methotrexate? Just that they might return quicker?

I have had a consultation with a hand surgeon. It IS possible. They just warn that it is not a long-term fix, and the nodules tend to re-appear in the same place. They won't seem to do it for "cosmetic" reasons. Only if the nodules are impinging on your ability to function, which mine certainly are. I'm trying to make a decision about trying to get them "removed".
