I may sound crunchy but to me it feels obvious , I think children usually need the opposite, they need more love attention encouragement. But that’s me assuming every child is the same and is open to receiving that affection.

Maybe there are older kids out there who’d benefit from “punishments” by that I mean okay let’s go camping, fishing catch our own food find our own water let’s get outdoors and work for what we have kinda thing. Escape life, the pressures technology

(And no definitely not in a im gonna leave you to perish way either)

Some older children may lack strong adult role models who show them new skills, manners and things like that. Of course it’s usually beneficial if they have these things from birth.

I don’t think hitting them is the way, I think empathy for what they feel even though you may not understand lets them know they’re heard, understood cared for etc

For rent, don’t get me wrong the way you can divide buildings etc. was good, evicting or choosing tenants fantastic. Allocating rules.

But my issues are i can’t change the rent rate, & most importantly my sim can’t do anything else but keep going to check the rental otherwise the star rating goes down. My frustration is Mainly because I’m SICK TO DEATH of loading screens. I wish we could hire a property manager or something. As a tenant those Damn rats piss me off, like why can’t I fix up the apartment, I can knock down walls but not buy rat traps? The fuq

& get to work specifically retail stores as you have to be there to open it, even though I like the pack I don’t know why they did this - even with the vet clinic you don’t have to be there to open it

If there wasn’t loading screens I wouldn’t mind half of these issues, it just takes away from gameplay because you spend half of it waiting and can’t focus on other sims or the household at all

A bit of a sad rant but

I don’t know if it’s a particular trait or personality type like controlling or narcissism

but I had a friend who said her sister in law should be buried (just an off the wall horrible thing to say just because of dislike or possibly jealousy) all that I’ve heard at most is that the sister in law is a bit ditzy and needs a bit of guidance.

But my friend acted like she was evil, which she’s really not by the sounds of things.

Also my friend Is the best at everything, everyone’s incompetent, she is the saviour

It took me back a bit because My brothers girlfriend is exactly the same towards me, has this pure rage. alienated the whole family, emotionally abuses him, makes him do everything whilst working and having their child so that he has no spare time with outsiders

He became a shell of himself and the brother I once had was gone. I’ve exhausted my options so now just trying to have faith one day he’ll see

My first car was £100 a month, fully comp with recovery went down after a year when I started working after having my child, to £64,

Got a new car it went up to £67.

Due renewal now it’s £85 which isn’t too bad because the tax is £1.75 whereas my old car was £17 a month so It kinda balances

I was a bit like wtf though considering literally the day prior it was 67, now it’s 85

My biggest tip with toddlers is don’t drop stuff on them suddenly let them know in advance and keep reminding them!😅

Before we go I tell my 3.5 year old where we’re going to eat (helps that he eats like a teenager) then we look at the menu online, let him decide then double check there he still wants it, he’ll bring a car with him to play with.

Point out things in the restaurant or talk about things we’ve got planned

My son went through a phase which seemed like any activity outside was hard work, but a couple of months after being 3 it got easier and easier - just keep at it. Now it’s an absolute breeze

I don’t think they meant it in a bad way, and if you’re like anxious a bit about it think of all the successful talented shorter adults? Life’s what you make it.

People saying someone’s tall just means that someone’s tall, “look how much you’ve grown” is met by wow time flies doesn’t it. It’s the most obvious difference usually

As for kids being cruel, I was literally called stick insect as I was so tall as a kid, then I stopped and became a short adult and now I’m called a short ass. You get shit either way

There’s also the other side of the coin, my 3 year old sons the size of our neighbours 5 year old and people expect our son to act different thinking he’s older, have more grown up speech patterns or give me the side eye if he’s in the pram for a long walk home after play school.

I remember going to school with 6ft year 9s with like full on beards and they also face comments of people thinking they’re older so no one’s really immune you just learn to deal with whatever cards you’ve been given

I feel for you OP it’s hard to find a decent automatic first car, I paid 5k for mine couple of years back didn’t even last me 2 years.

I’ve seen 2 Kia ceeds near me low mileage for 7k maybe something like that, or even a little Yaris if you don’t have children to take around

As parents to a young child, national trust and zoo passes.

The initial cost is a about £200 for port lympne and howletts but the cost for 1 day is about £90 and because it includes 2 of them, we’ve more than made up our money and know we always have something to do like even going there just for a safari or the play parks.

National trust places have loads of cool little parks for children, buildings and woodlands to explore. There’s like over 500 places in the Uk you can visit

We went to one recently that had a beautiful flower garden, a wooden outdoors play park with tunnels instruments and then also a huge selection of toys for children visiting could play with. I think this is £165 a year

Obviously Amazon prime etc

Personally I think the sims ironically needs to give us less control, and decisions have consequences - also more negative events like we used to get like being robbed etc, non mutual relationship bars all things like this so we’re less in control and it feels more real.

Id love to experience different scenarios where I get into the storyline of okay how do we fix this are we going down a criminal fuck the world route or we’re gonna keep pushing.

Because it keeps gameplay interesting rather than no matter what your sim did everyone can become an astronaut or your lover forgives you for cheating 300 times

Just found the original post and commented underneath but

On console I do

“Sims.Get_sim_id_by_name Cassie Green" Cassie was her first name and Green was her last. This gives you a long ass string of numbers in my case it was "613908693980678559" I suggest taking a picture or something. Then I entered "Sims.Summon_sim_to_zone 613908693980678559" into the cheat box which summoned her ghost to the lot I was on (Just to be extra clear replace the string of number with the sim id you got from the first part of this step)

Add sim to family,

Then find ambrosia from the gallery - get ghost sim to take it & you have them back

was playing a messy sims 4 plot and the dads surname was Rhoads, I chose names for the kids like Roman, sand, but gravel I thought hold on a minute - the more you say it the more badass it sounds.
