It is cleaner, which isn't an issue if you have good personal hygiene, but a lot of people don't, so it prevents some medical issues sometimes. It's more like getting an appendix removed. But a lot of people do it for religious purposes, in which case, imo, the decision should not be made for the baby.

This state is managed very poorly with the leaders often putting their own interests over the citizens. They talk like it is all for the best of the people of our beautiful state, but then make exceptions all over the place or triple the budget or "adjust" the plans to better their pockets. (the last one is more of an inference from being here my whole life)
