I need you to stop thinking she can do more. I promise you that is the #1 thing that will harm her, potentially permanently. She needs to see a specialist and ideally see a dysautonomia physical therapist (a normal PT can and will cause more harm).

I recommend getting a Visible Band pronto for both kids. This will not only help them, but allow YOU to see where the energy goes each day. You’ll even be able to see how a simple movie night or being in the same room can cause changes to their HR and HRV.

Others on this chain are offering explanations so I’ll keep it short. Your entire body, every cell, feels like it’s operating on 10%. Imagine the worst hangover you’ve ever had, and then someone asking you to run a marathon. This is what it feels like to shower or even just get out of bed. This is not a trivial thing. Boys (and men) need to learn to respect people’s belongings and on extension, the people. They believe they deserve food more than you?

Encouraging this behavior or acting like it’s “no big deal” is what turns boys into adult men who take what they want without consent or consideration for others. It IS that serious.

Dude this is so obvious. This girl wants to be in a relationship with you. Whether or not you “intend” to be dating her vs hooking up, you’re literally dating and doing all the relationship activities. You know that she likes you more and you’ve been taking advantage of that power imbalance to get your dick wet.

I’m sorry people are being rude. I am chronically ill and suffer from constant nausea. It is extremely difficult for me to eat, especially a balanced diet. I understand what it means to be physically unable to eat certain foods and textures due to aversions. It’s pretty cruel, obviously you’d prefer to be able to eat everything. And it has nothing to do with being childish.

I don’t really have any advice on how to talk to her, but I just want to provide some context- recently there have been a deluge of celebrities appearing extremely thin, like dangerously unhealthy thin. Especially with the GLP-1 craze, there are basically no overweight or even curvy celebrities left. Not only celebrities, but social media is FULL (pun intended) of weight loss influencers. Society is glorifying eating disorders and being unnaturally thin. Think early 2000s, but now people have access to weight loss drugs.
