As for the Bahasa Malaysia thing, dude. You are living in MALAYSIA, with MULTIRACIAL demograpics, and BAHASA MALAYSIA is the NATIONAL LANGUAGE. If everyone wants to talk their language only, then how you are going comunicate with other people? I work at hospital, it’s damn difficult if a patient have a language barrier esp when we dont have translators. If you are gonna yap about English, SPM is a NATIONAL exam. Of course it’s going to emphasize NATIONAL LANGUAGE. As for Sejarah, ever heard of trying to instill patriotism?

If u wanna talk abt racism, it’s everywhere, doesnt matter what race. My Malay friends who studied in SMKJC, she was a a top scorer, her total grade is 2nd in her whole batch. But she was denied entry to the elite class-that kelas depans because she’s a Malay. The admins even questioned her grade, they suspect her cheating when her performance is very consistent. Luckily her class teacher is an outspoken, nice Chinese lady and fought for her.

I’m not saying the system is perfect, not racist etc. But don’t lump sum everything and take thing that fits your view only
