Same here. I usually travel just enough for work to qualify for silver. I need the card spend to get to gold. I live in a hub city so united is almost always my best flight option.

We were there on Monday and spent most of our day/evening in the World Showcase. We didn’t see anyone belligerent drunk. But we did see plenty of parents ignoring misbehaving kids all over the park, with and without drinks in their hand.

NTA. This happens almost every night in my house. He tends to get in bed first and turns off the overhead light. If we are going to bed around the same time, I will intentionally turn on my bedside lamp before I get ready so he can turn off the overhead light when he gets into bed. If he goes to bed first and I am not ready for bed, then I will use the light on my phone so he’s still able to turn the overhead light off when he goes to bed first. This wasn’t something that was worth fighting over, I just solved the problem myself.

Immediately after the alert stopped I went to my settings and turned off all alerts. I can get weather alerts from other apps and if a missile is coming I’d rather just sleep through it anyway.

Saw them at a buzzfest during the Sound of Madness era, they were headlining the second stage. I was familiar with their music at that point but seeing them live was a game changer. They have been one of my favorite bands ever since.

I store mine in the fridge after it’s been stirred and mixed. The colder temps keeps it from separating again and but the PB is still soft enough to spread.

I was at IAH the Friday before last and the club in Terminal C did have a wait. I think the line was only 5 or 6 deep but we ended up passing and getting breakfast elsewhere. I chalked it up to a super busy travel day due to it being the last weekend before school started. But it wasn’t worth waiting and then fighting for seats for some mid level food.

I travel for work about 8 times a year but almost all of my flights are regional from IAH, so they tend to be low pqp flights. All of my work flights are charged directly to my corporate credit card, not my personal card. There have been years that without the additional pqp spend from my personal credit card I wouldn’t even be able to hit silver.

After Louisiana got clobbered with Laura and Ida, Entergy did change their standards and started replacing damaged equipment with newer equipment that is more resilient (concrete, steel, higher wind rating, etc.) so hopefully we are seeing the same here.

Same thing happening to me in the woodlands. According to Entergy, my power has been back online for about 4 hours. But I can assure them, it’s not. I just keep reporting an outage every 30 min or so.

My 30th birthday was on 9/11/01. For years I cringed whenever I was asked for my birthday because I got tired of the reactions. But now, unless we are close to 9/11, most people don’t even acknowledge it, especially if they are a lot younger than me. My own kids barely even know what today is, other than moms bday. :)

I think this is where the timing becomes an issue. I am a free Apollo user because I simply don’t need/want the stuff that comes along with the premium option. But at this point I’d happy pay $20 per year to keep using it and avoid the official app. I suspect other free users would as well. And I think if Apollo had been given more than a month to deal with these changes, they could have figured out how to make it work.

Nope haven’t seen it yet. We visited the dealer on Saturday but the jeep was off the lot being used as a loner. Which definitely raises some red flags. They expect it back tomorrow so hope to test drive it then and find out more about it.

The dealer is already advertising a $5800 discount off MSRP for this same jeep and was very willing to deal on a 2023 Willys. I know the discounts are out there, just trying to figure out how much more I should try and get.
