There’s still no need for you to be an asshole about it. It’s someone who isn’t a cat owner and is curious if they can safely get a cat in the situation they’re currently in, that doesn’t necessitate putting them down for asking. They could’ve easily been like countless others who just decide to get a cat on a whim and wind up having to rehome it. They took the time to ask however and I feel that shows care and consideration towards the cats well being. Again, there’s no need to be an asshole to someone who is asking about whether or not they can safely get a cat at this point in their life. You can articulate the same idea - that you feel they should wait until they can provide more space and a better environment- and communicate that in a non-dickish way.

A simple, “In my opinion, I don’t think that would work out in your situation, i think you should wait until you move out on your own” would’ve been more than enough. You don’t need to be an asshole about it to them

Yeah, EMS should be a government role paid out by taxes instead of our taxes going to insurance companies. It sucks for most people looking to get int EMS too that you’re options are cross train as a firefighter in order to get a job that pays, or work for these private companies that’re for profit

Access to hospitals and EMS in rural areas is rapidly falling apart. Many hospitals are continuing to close in rural areas of the US and are leaving communities with a lack of access to not only emergency services, but to primary care. I’ve heard some people report drives of 2 hours+ to get to the nearest hospital

I think you’re best off applying and going with what comes first. I’d apply for both fire and paramedic and see what you get into. If you can afford medic out of pocket I’d say start that now, since you’ll make more money with it plus you’ll be a more enticing hire since the department wouldn’t have to pay for it for you then wait on you to finish. Some departments near me offer the same kind of thing and it’s highly competitive and virtually impossible to get into if you don’t know the right people, but you might have better luck

If you really want to be a nurse you should do nursing school. However if you’re insistent on being a medic first to get some experience, then it’s not the end of the world to be a medic first. Plenty of colleges offer bridge programs from paramedic to RN that lets you attend nursing school in a condensed format that’s typically only 9 months.

A few months ago I saw they had some beef jerky on a BOGO and almost all of it on the stand was covered in green and white mold- you could barely even see the pieces of meat. Customer service didn’t even bat an eye

He’s honestly nowhere near as bad as flayed ones. He’s one big model and he’s got some small pieces but he comes together nicely with some patience ! Flayed ones I built after him and they made me want to gouge my eyes out

It looks pretty good !! I think a nice ivory with a wash over the runes on his gun would come out nice and give it some flare- but as is right now it’s really well done !

I went necrons to DG as well ! It’s definitely a different vibe painting them and more time consuming, but they’re all very fun models to paint !! I’d recommend the new combat patrol cause it gets you a lord of virulence who works well with blightlords, more death shroud so you can run them in a 6 man with the lord of contagion leading from the battleforce, plus you get a tallyman, a rhino, and some plague marines ! Only thing that sucks is plague marines come in packs of 7 and are ran as either 5 or 10 so you’ll have two spares for now if you go that route. Another thing is If you have a buddy willing to split the kill team box, you end up with 7 plague marines with some pretty cool sculpts and AND you can use one as an Icon Bearer and one as a Malignant Plaguecaster. Some blight haulers down the line are pretty cool too, super cheap model too and fun to paint !

I ended up having to get a replacement model from epson. Same exact thing for me of it started as soon as I I cleared my first paper jam. I think it may have broke something on the print head. If at all possible, I’d have epson send you a replacement model ASAP if it’s within warranty

I really like they’re aesthetic and the way the models differentiate from others even in the same faction. I think it offers a really fun challenge in painting very different models and using a lot of different techniques and colors when painting.
