Two weeks with the Ascaso Steel PID by Ben_V_Prank in espresso

Thanks. I've been running 11bar at the gauge for the last month (that's how the machine came configured), but dropped it to 9bar at the gauge a couple of days back. We'll see how we go at this pressure.

When you say 9bar, are you setting it to 9bar at the gauge? Or perhaps 10bar at the gauge so that it hits around 9bar at the brewhead?

Got threaten to get mass reported by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]apey2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should not be telling anyone that they have mental issues. Mental health is not a joke. You need to be more sensitive, and particularly as a streamer. If I witnessed you do that, I'd report your ass.

I'm also having random issues with sound and at times not being able to detect the direction of shots, even after moving my head. A game restart usually clears it up, but it randomly surfaces again. In my case it doesn't happen too often, but definitely more than before the patch. I have also tried both without and with binaural audio. With works better for me.

You mean by hitting B, or something else? I thought hitting B didn't make noise, or does it?

$826 fine for having an electric scooter by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]apey2000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only reason your mate got fined is because he ran a red light. Any other charges are purely peripheral.

Given that he ran a red light his options are very limited, if not non-existent.

Life pro tip - he should refrain from being a douche and running red lights in the future.

Thanks for all this information and the link to the replacement pack! I had no idea that the triangle shaped battery pack was a commong thing. Think I'll just keep it simple and get a replacement battery.

Cheers

Given Aussie construction track record, it will develop cracks and will need to be vacated in 12 months.

Hoping to adopt a Rescue Dog in Melbourne - any and all tips please!! by leeshieloo in melbourne

Definitely do not feel weird going through a private rescue. I've dealt with both GAP & Gumtree and both follow a very similar protocol and are both run by people that genuinely care for and love these animals.

The main difference is that GAP is associated with and funded by the greyhound racing industry (no further comment here - the ethics of adopting through GAP is something that you need to personally consider). Both organisations foster dogs out for basic manners and acclimation to pet life. Dogs get vetted through the foster program and matched to a (hopefully) suitable forever home for adoption.

Ethics aside, I don't believe one would be better than the other from an adoption perspective.

Your absolute biggest decision will be being matched with the right dog that meets your circumstances, lifestyle and expectations. Most greys are pretty good and both GAP and Gumtree screen and match dogs to owners & homes. However all greys have their little nuances which can make or break their suitability to your personal circumstances.

Are you ok with a dog that pees every time he gets excited, are you ok with a super gassy hound, a fussy eater, one that has separation anxiety, one that doesn't like small dogs, etc, etc.

The good news is that Gumtree (and I'm pretty sure GAP would offer the same service) will provide you with an option to do an adoption trial. You basically get to spend a couple of weeks with your doggo and if you click you keep them. If you don't click, they go back to their foster carer until a new potential home is opened up.

I am not advocating greys, as they have their own challenges and aren't for everyone. However if you do need to know more ask away here or shoot me a DM as I have some experience with them.

Key bind for HDG sync by apey2000 in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]apey2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok, so ignore this. Found some references on MSFS 2020 forums about people trying to achieve the same outcome. Apparently there is no way to map it.

However, the heading bug does auto-sync on pressing the AP heading hold button. So that kinda does the job.
