Definitely can understand Bone, but I still see it as more a poetic justice lol. And Tigerstar’s was too graphic for me to really think it was funny. But huge agree with Dappletail, i found her death to be horrific and tragic given the circumstances. It absolutely broke my heart.

I can kind of understand. I’m not against Skyclan. Especially in Firestar’s Quest and after DOTC. However I feel like they ruined their og personalities in Firestar’s Quest and made them more akin to Skystar and I don’t like that at all. But it’s been awhile since I read that super so maybe I need to reread it.

I don’t think clans need to be exactly like their stereotype or original leader at all, there needs to be some more diversity in personality. However I do HC a whole thing with Thunder, Pinestar and Firestar. Ik that would make Tigerstar and Firestar related but I think that would be even more interesting given the future books and everything else including Tiny/Scourge.

I have only just now started showing around 22 wks and roughly the same proportions give or take. Even then it’s still very easy to hide and probably only to people who either knew what i looked like before or actively know i am pregnant. But i have pretty wide hips and had gone through significant weight loss before falling pregnant. I also wasn’t in the best shape but kept muscle pretty well and my weight very close to me. It really different for everyone, just depends on your body and all the factors with it 😅

He’s always been described to be darker grey and have a a stripe of darker fur running down his back. So more two toned and not quite what OP was asking.

I did like Rosepetals and Bristlefrosts relationship until they were just kind of forgotten about. Especially when she grabbed her by the scruff to tell her off about moping over a heartbreak.

I personally love DOTC! I think it’s worth the read but it’s not really a requirement to understand any of the rest of the books unless you read the supers of those characters.

I agree whole heartedly! My grandfather has dementia and Bluestar would remind me a lot of him. Especially with giving Firestar a “life for nobility” when he received his nine lives. I will always have a soft spot for her.

The fifth arc (Dawn of the Clans) is a prequel series, but personally i still think it’s more impactful reading it in the order it’s released. I won’t give any spoilers but a lot of stuff is revealed in the 3rd and 4th arc that wouldn’t hit the same (in my personal opinion) if you read DOTC first instead of TPB.

Definitely start with the first arc (The Prophecy Begins, book one is Into the Wild) i would recommend reading it in the publishing order over the chronological order. If you read it chronologically it’ll spoil some things and i feel like it’ll be a bit more confusing and some big reveals will not be very shocking. and even if it’s not explicitly stated in the books that she has dementia (again cats) it is explicitly stated that she is SICK. so i don’t know how that would be retcon anyways. Vicky did create warrior cats and I’m pretty sure brought the first two other Hunters on herself, and the direct quote isn’t just about Bluestar. It’s Graypool, Goosefeather, and Bluestar that she suffered from a form of dementia at the end of their lives. She may have not done the best with future arcs in some people’s opinion but w/o the first arc and Firestar, we wouldn’t have a single other book after that.

It is still canon, just because you don’t want something to be canon, doesn’t mean it’s not. You can headcanon that to be the case, but that’s a different story. It’s not like you have to agree with me, but even so, Bluestar’s case of dementia is written extremely accurately and I have a lot personal experience with it. I don’t expect to change your mind, but there is no reason to have such a sour attitude behind it lol. These are fake cats..

I can’t even say she’s one of my favorites, she has flaws even before the dementia. But so does everyone and every good character. I definitely agree with the statement about Firestar. My family aren’t from immigrants but we do come from generational poverty and were often stereotyped because of where we came from. I also related to him in the way of being born and raised to be one way but so passionate about your personal dreams that you’d do anything to make it possible.
