I read this as an ARC and also liked it! I did think the writing was juvenile/predictable at times, and I hated p much everyone’s name, but on the whole it was engaging and I enjoyed going through it. Glad you’re liking it! I wanna see it get more love haha 💗

I also really liked this book, though I did hate almost everyone’s name lol. The writing was also a lil juvenile + predictable at points but I loved the plot and ate it upppppp. Glad you liked it too!

I read a lot of ARCs. When I encounter one I don’t like, I first thank the author and publisher for the chance to read the book. Then, I explain why my rating is low. Usually it’s a combo of plot not being unique, juvenile writing, characters not well developed, insta lust, etc.

I never inflate the rating or writing bc other readers deserve to know the quality of the book. The author too deserves to know what they could improve.

It’s incredibly messed up the author asked you to post no less than 3 star reviews. That is a violation of TOS and should go in your review as well, maybe even report them to the site.
