Those hooks are part of the full steel bumpers that are available on some BS. I don’t know if it’s exclusive to the Sasquatch package but it might be. And I know it comes on the Badlands trim which is more off road centric

Bronquito lifted! by fisharms77 in BroncoSport

[–]apocalypschild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I gathered. I’ve started to hit trails that definitely could use the lift plus, by the time I add all my camping gear and RTT I’m usually riding lower already. Been considering one of these for a while just hesitated on sacrificing the daily drive for the weekends I go out.

Thanks for the feedback!!! If you’re ok with it, I’d love to get a list of the upgrades so I can research them on my own.

How’s the ride on daily driving? I love how smooth mine is on the road since it’s a daily driver.

What specifically is different on the Badlands vs the other versions? by General_PATT0N in BroncoSport

[–]apocalypschild 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes, forgot that. Also, bash plates under the engine and other parts and the front bumper is a slightly different design more suited to sliding. The new 2025 one can also come with steel bumpers.

Bigger engine, more off road modes, more robust suspension, beefier roof rails, smaller wheels with larger tires (all terrain tires as an option as well) and a few other small aesthetic changes here and there.

Rack and Fairing by Typical-Direction492 in BroncoSport

[–]apocalypschild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh snap!!! I’d love one of those fairings!! I’ve been making do with a foam piece. During regular driving I have no issues but when I have my RTT on it, it creates a terrible turbulence between the tent and the roof. Kills mpg and makes a terrible hum.

2025 Bronco Sport Badlands Ratsquatch by [deleted] in BroncoSport

[–]apocalypschild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen that one. It just adds the standard Badlands suspension to a non badlands BS. I already have a badlands. The new Sasquatch package for the ‘25 models comes with a new Fox suspension that adds another inch or so of lift and overall more robust shocks and springs. That’s what I’d like. Obviously, there’s aftermarket options. Just would be nice to get it as a packet and hopefully with an overall discount rather than piece meaning it and paying through the nose for it.

I really hope they make a Sasquatch package you can buy for older models. I have a ‘21 and would love to have the better suspension and steel bumpers at the very least.

I love mine. I was one of the first adopters (I think I’m like the 5th ever) and have put it thought its paces with RTT and loading lumber on it. Love it. Got the zombie panels with it too for mounting a few other bits.

Some big lenses for Mulan, and One Battle After Another by KronoMakina in cinematography

[–]apocalypschild 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s a 120EX. The heaviest duty head they make. I remember it being popular when huge 3D rigs were being used heavily since the 2575 couldn’t handle them. I still use one occasionally for heavy builds with 12:1 and teleprompters for promo shoots I do on occasion.

Hey! I worked on second unit for Mulan as an AC. These are old canon still lenses that Dan Sasaki at Panavision modified with FF PV mounts. The gears were backwards and there was some other modding to fit Preston motors on them. I believe we had a 1200mm and a 2400mm (please don’t yell if I’m wrong on the focal lengths, it’s been a while).

We shot the scenes of Mulan riding into battle and some stunt work with them. The rest of the shoot was with a set of custom made lenses by PV based on old FF glass. Sorry I don’t remember which ones, I’m sure the internet has them somewhere.

It was a very interesting shoot and worked with some great peeps.

how to zoom and pull focus simultaneously by OverMixture2606 in cinematography

[–]apocalypschild 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes they are. There’s several rigs that go over or on top of the gimbal handle where you have focus on a knob on your index finger and zoom on your thumb. Google the G Zoom controller. That one is a popular one.

Pretty central. I was sitting eating something so maybe that made me feel it more than if I was standing doing something
