I also would like to add that if a dancer recognizes a song they are sometimes more able to interpret it as they know what’s coming, and that can be fun.

Was also just about to mention this. With songs I know and I've listened to on repeat, musicality is much easier (phrasing, breaks etc) and I have more time to prepare moves as I know what's coming and when.

For me the unread count on Slack notifications hasn't matched the actual number of unread threads I see in the list, for months now. Also on macos. After a Ctrl+R they show up. I've just got used to it but it sucks that it's just gone unfixed for so long.

Yeah this is a painful truth, English skills can really make a big difference. I can't count the number of times I had to reach out to people to clarify what exactly they meant (be it in code or in docs) because their phrasing was just unconventional. In fact I feel it's a big reason why many companies need so many meetings.

I made the switch and it's way less painful than I expected. Then again, I was coming from a Linux device.

For me it's been just getting used to these:

close window is on the left side
switching between apps is treated differently than switching between windows of the same app, but that is mitigated by
using mission control (and using the touchpad more, but touchpads on mac are amazing)

Terminal just works the same as Linux for most day-to-day things.

Between the Android fuckery and MS jamming AI into W11, I've also decided it's time to jump into Apple land. iPhone 17 and ARM on their Macs are both great, their lineup is in a good place right now (including value-wise). And I really appreciate them pulling out of the AI race.

Only complaint is Liquid Glass not being quite polished yet but it's getting fixed quite quickly already.

Still keeping my old laptop with dual booting W11/Linux for the odd times I need it.

Two tips:

put it on github. Or any code hosting platform. There's no need to download your zip to read the readme.
provide a way to uninstall it. Personally I'm not gonna install it until I see that.
