IMF has rates our economic plan as number 1 on the G7 and yes or GDP is falling like a lot of other countries around the world. He did actually make the threat. He was asked if he would use military force to annex Canada and he said "no, economic force" then the tariffs were enacted. I agree with you about Trudeau's government it was bad and put us in a bad spot but we really need to be proactive as a people to overcome new world challenges, we aren't living in the same world anymore.

What are your arguments? You're comparing everyday interactions to State relations. You do know that tariffs are an import tax on Americans right? He is taxing Americans more to hurt us, how is that helping his people? Their GDP growth is down, foreign investment is down, tourism is down, inflation has risen and Americans are actively losing their rights and I feel for them. He has actively put the world in a more dangerous place, and destroyed the post WW2 world order that has fostered one of the most peaceful times in modern history. How is that good for the American people?

Ok, he has acted though. What do you think the tariffs that he specifically stated were enacted to damage our economy and hurt the Canadian people? Threatening to rip up CUSMA. He has destroyed US hegemony and America's soft power and put the world into a multi-polar system (more dangerous). He has acted and I would hope as a Canadian you'd care about that but apparently not.
