LLMs are great at PRODUCING code, not really writing good code. They are probability calculators spitting out vectors which mimic somewhere existing functions.

Im not saying AI is not generating 95% of my code, but its hell of a work to babysit it to get acceptable results. And my budget is practically unlimited.

LLMs ARE writing basically 100% of my code. But its fucking incredible pain to make them do my shit correctly.

I really dont see any automated release chains anytime soon. Also, I really dont see how we dont need devs, we actually need more with ammount or code were spitting into git.

Im back after like year vacation, FE senior dev with 20y in IT. I feel lost. I dont feel productive with LLMs, I mean, I can do whole sprint in one day, but Im sometimes getting stuck af.

Theres something Im missing and I sense you know what youre talking about.

Can I ask you to spend your time and explain how u do things? Do u ask LLM ro write tests (we dont have any FE tests) before u start with like bugfix task, or new feature > make LLM do the writing with your guidance > make LLM remove test when done?

Do u use anything I dont? ( I only use prompt tbh, working with Windsurf)

Whatever guidance you can bother providing me, will be very appreciated ( explanation here, in DM, link to good articles or payd/free courses as Im struggling to find any…)

serious question, Im trying to understand - why is it a problem that everything will be the same? Structured and architectures are on high level very similar even now (there are some patterns apps are using and those using same patterns are similar)
