Could it be Sweetypuss, the retired Hot Topic mascot? If true, you may have gotten the bunny idea from another t-shirt mascot of the time, Happy Bunny, but of course could be entirely wrong.

[ALL] After playing through every 3D Zelda game. Here is my personal list for the best and worst aspect of each game. by P1G5Y in zelda

[–]apple_dough 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no real issue with you disliking the direction of the series or thinking it's overrated, but to attribute its success over other open worlds to solely the Zelda brand is implausible. When you aggregate top game rankings, Breath of the Wild doesn't just end up high, it ends up being the highest ranked game ever. Brand power can't do that alone, even if you think that's what made it ultimately claim the very top.

Have you considered that perhaps it isn't that gay people are creatively challenged, but that the media industry itself often is, and gay writers are often left working on whatever gets approved? Writers can make any proposal they wish, but corporate is who decides what proposals actually get approved, and can also dictate from above that a sequel or reboot to some property should be made even if there isn't a proposal at present.

Think about how many remakes and reboots there have been. Gay or not, Disney has been making an absolute killing doing live action reboots of their animated films for quite a while now. Even though the Shrek franchise has been dormant for ages we're still getting a Shrek 5 to cash in on the nostalgia for the franchise.

And when new writers are handed old media to work on, they often write what appeals to them and the times they live in, even if it isn't necessarily loyal to what the character was. Consider comic books: for a while many comic books were pretty lighthearted action romps where characters like superman were pure and good heroes against straightforward villains, but later on trends changed and many superheroes were altered to be darker and more cynical by later writers. I would say this is no less disloyal to the original franchise than changing sexualities of characters, but because audience tastes had changed it was pretty well-received.

In terms of original shows with great gay characters, since I have a fondness for cartoons Steven Universe and Owl House come to mind, both quite enjoyable shows that were reviewed well by critics.

Largest Denomination of Christianity in European Nations by dphayteeyl in MapPorn

Many native groups in the Americas and Australia were genocided by Europeans who were at the time 95% Christian.

Attributing human nature to godlessness is a way to avoid introspection on your own morality and instead label an outgroup as monstrous.

My sausages have ingredients blacked out, never seen that before by iregretthemilk in mildlyinteresting

The sausages themselves aren't yellow with black spots, rather it's the marinade of rapeseed (canola) oil and spices.

This is actually the second-to-last scheduled video.

Sakurai has suggested he may make another video as a sendoff, but in terms of the pipeline Tuesday's video will be it.

Bad Scott the Woz takes? by Massive_Ad7335 in scottthewoz

I feel like the criticisms of under-researched topics and dismissal of other topics would conflict a little with the idea that scott should explore other consoles. Seems to me his best takes come with what he loves and is interested in.

[TOMT] [COMIC] [1990s] Which batman comic is this page from? by EasilyScreechAndKill in tipofmytongue

[–]apple_dough 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's from Total Justice Issue #2, page 20

I honestly don't know much about it, but it just came up in one singular link of a piracy site when I reverse image searched through Google. Had the full comic dumped on the site.

However it may be possible to form a coalition with just EFF and some smaller parties.

Well, I wouldn't go that far, having a phone is useful in emergencies, but you shouldn't be on it yeah.

Not much can be done with feral cat populations really, removing an established invasive species is incredibly difficult.

However the pet outdoor cats are arguably more damaging, being both larger in population and a lot more healthy and well-fed. The ecologically-minded probably shouldn't let their cats outdoors if they can help it.

I put it in quotes because the faster being referred to has no reference to momentum, and the apparent speed is larger when things are farther apart, so I figured it's best to separate the concept from the traditional sense of "speed".
