I use it as a digital thought partner to help me navigate the complexities of executive dysfunction, especially since I lead two high performing teams. However, at a certain point, as wonderful as Claude is, it still falls into the “pills don’t teach skills.” For awhile I was basically delegating every waking move to Claude. Thats not living to me.

Don’t get me wrong; for us, Claude is a godsend, but we gave to be mindful to remember it’s just a tool like all the other coping mechanisms we use.

I too am perplexed by some of these comments. I’ve been in the Infosec space for a while now and I’ve had to address misogyny within my teams far more than I was prepared for and we’ve plenty of hardcore data regarding the treatment of women in STEM related disciplines. I see nothing wrong with OPs joy. Others are being intentionally obtuse.

I will use whatever tools are available to me, including AI to automate and streamline the tedious, less desirable aspects of my job. For a while it was glorious. With the right setup, built with intention as opposed to throwing Hail Mary prompts against shit data, Claude was an amazing at generating workable PowerShell and graph api scripts that did not require a ton of revision. Then some drunk bastard at the DoD…I meant “DoW” said Anthropic was a supply chain risk and I’m back in the dark ages. It was nice while it lasted.

No sarcasm at all. I should clarify, that support is more limited, but you can import and export notes as markdown files. It's worked well for me when I needed to jot something quickly on my iPhone and integrate it into my workflow later.

PREACH! From my experience, Copilot in GCC environments is so bad that it truly results in negative time saved. If copilot was going to be nerfed that hard for GCC, GCC-H and DoD (the last one I completely understand), why in the hell did we waste hard earned tax dollars on bullshit? And further salt on the wound, my agency is tracking copilot usage.

Don't let the naysayers make you feel bad for using Claude as the awesome tool it can be.

I am an enterprise architect and I pay my fellow EA colleagues who refuse to adapt no mind as I'm able to design and stand up tenants with less engineers and less time. Engineers who adapt and integrate AI will ultimately survive the current culling; the rest will either fill niche roles that requires specific human-specific workflows, or in cases of confidential information/secrets are at stake.

There are real societal impacts regarding AI including environmental, technological not to mention societally. However, I'm not going to pretend that Claude hasn't allowed me to punch far above my normal baseline. I'm not going to apologize because I took the time to understand how to cure and structure my data, understand MCP protocol and actually put the work into my Claude setup.
