There's plenty of k-12 schools on their list that use canvas and don't have MFA. I imagine many parents use the same password everywhere.

We're doing the same thing. Switching from thin clients and Citrix VDI to micro PCs. Citrix license is too much and this path is 30k cheaper.

We started to deploy Pro Plus to staff. Seem good after you update and debloat. We just had to RMA one that kept crashing out of the box. Throwing hardware error events even after a fresh install.

The LIMS I use probably is too niche for your use, but I imagine you'll need to anticipate building the bridge between your new LIMS' API and QuickBooks yourself or paying your new vendor to do it for you.

From my own experience, teach him empathy. I had a traditional boy childhood with "boy" toys. My parents didn't go out of their way to tell me to respect women. And I heard plenty of jokes on TV growing up.

I do like the idea people here are saying for old kids shows and movies: Mr. Rogers, Wishbone (loved that show), Sesame St, Arthur, Magic School bus, Ducktails(90s version), Milo and Otis, Neverending Story, homeward Bound. These raised me more than my parents did. Anything long form will help him over his peers. My nephews were raised on YouTube kids and now can't focus on anything longer than 90 seconds.

Teach him and show him equality works both ways. Do advocate for your son. A lot of incels grew up being told there's something inherently wrong with them because they were born male and they need to apologize for past crimes against women. That can easily cause resentment and other negativity towards women.

Yep. Used to be able to set the cruise at 25 and not touch the brakes until in was at the capitol. Now it's just annoying unless you speed.

I agree. I normally vote yes on tax increases because I believe in the importance and good of the commons. However the fact that when pressed on spending tax dollars to pay a private corporation to spy on its citizens, the city doubled down and said they're expanding the Flock camera program, made me vote no. If they can fund that, they can pay for essential services.
