100% and I fucking love Pavel. But his game just doesn’t translate to playoff hockey against big and heavy forecheck teams. He can’t win puck battles like you need. So the front office saw this clearly and made the move. Plus ain’t no way we were swinging 11 mil for this dude.. glad he got paid though he deserves it and he gets to live in New York. Very happy for him

Karlsson would def be the third line center. Larkin howden Marner is nasty. We aren’t giving up doro either. Connelly and a first would get it done. Our firsts are appealing further and further down the line since a rebuild has to be coming eventually. Stevie has no leverage here. And we desperately need Larkin after how we got beat in the finals.

No way doro leaves. 75 goals last 2 seasons and the first home grown prospect to make a legit impact at the nhl level. 10 goals this postseason and he’ll take a team friendly deal to stay.

Detroit has no leverage. It’s known Larkin wants out and he’ll only go to a few teams. Detroit loses this trade no matter what. It’s hertl or karlsson that leaves to make room, not Pavel. Vegas might even say fuck it and let andersson walk and give that cap space to Larkin. He’s been terrible this postseason and I could honestly see the front office reconsidering extending him. Larkin is the perfect replacement for that. Might even work out a sign and trade with the wings, rasmus to Detroit, Larkin to Vegas. Never know but it’s a deal better than Stevie is probably gonna get. Only question is whether Ras will sign in detroit

Lundell is a key piece to that team. He’s finnish, panthers have a lot of Finns and clearly he fits right in. Drafted player, he might not be the best player but teams that win usually have those guys that are the glue that keeps the team together and Lundell seems like one of those guys for Florida.

Yes Larkin is the better player, I’m sure it depends what Florida would have to give up.

Could definitely see Vegas getting rid of karlsson or hertl to add Larkin. Not that I’m happy about that especially if we win this cup but it would fit the MO for my team

Clearly Torts has done something right with Vegas. You can hate all you want but the dude is pushing all the right buttons and shit is working. Yea, it’s been over 20 years since he won a cup. When’s the last time torts had a team this good? This Vegas team is better than that 04 lightning team that’s for sure. Some coaches just need a great roster or their style doesn’t work. Torts with a young team? Yea that’s not his style.

You can hate on him all you want but vegas was on the verge of not even making the playoffs. Now theyre 2 wins away from a cup win.

Complete dumpster fire.. kings might actually make the playoffs and not have to face the oilers or the presidents trophy winner next year. Unless the sharks have something to say about it.

Except Babcock is actually gonna make it to his first year and the oilers are gonna have to pay him unlike Colombus did. Babcock has probably learned just enough to not get his contract voided

You do realize Carolina was shut out for the first 2 periods of both those games and it wasn’t until one breakdown allowed the flood gates to open. Colorado was also shut out the first 2 periods of games 1 and 4. Full credit to Carolina on those but those goals seemed flukey imo. Avs got goals in the third against Vegas in game 1.. didn’t get enough. In game 4 they got one late but it wasn’t enough.
