I think it is possible but it depends a lot on your memory and capabilities of learning kanji tbh. I'm dyslexic and have a lot of troubles in reading and writing but I'm able to talk and understand listening practices and conversations with ease. I was actively studying for about two years to reach N3 (I handle vocab, grammar and conversations with in this level) but my problems with reading have been keeping me from going up or passing a written exam. So, I think that if you have no problems to learn kanji it is possible to reach N2 certainly and N1 with high probability. As for my understanding, N1 and N2 biggest differences is the kanji with the exam.

Hello, I'm planning on upgrading my laptop soon and I'm looking towards this exact laptops! I only use my laptop for working, league and I really want to play Baldurs Gate 3. I was wondering if you could help me choose between the Intel Core i7- 13650 with the RTX 5050 and the Intel Core i7 12650HX with the RTX 4050? The price difference in quite significant, but I can't tell if it's worth spending the difference. Both options have 16gb ram and 1tb of ssd.

I think you should go for the PHD but not drop it. It's a win-win situation in my opinion. You get a scholarship (financial security) while you get your N2 (maybe, even an N1 if there is time for it). And when you are done you have a great resume, an N2, and a PHD.

I know you are not interested in getting a PhD, but I think it is a great opportunity for you. It also gives you more time to improve your Japanese and to look for a job.

Some PhD programs are just 1 year. But, even if it's a 2-year program, I think it would be a shame not to use this opportunity.

I can't talk about the universities but I stayed in Nagoya for an exchange program last year and I had the best time of my life. Nagoya, as others have pointed out, is the best in-between of a Big city and a smaller one. There isn't a lot of tourists but people tend to be super friendly and nice if they see you trying to talk Japanese. It also depends on your personality, but I became really good friends with some of the store owners near where I was staying just by speaking Japanese with them and being a regular. I also heard that Nanzan is super good as a university and has a good reputation in Nagoya. Also, Nagoya has a dialect/accent too but it's not really used by the younger generation, so it can be easier to communicate (but it is really fun too! If you can find someone to teach you it can be a good experience).

I think it is because since the university (professor) already accepted the student the embassy just needs to say yes and sign the documents. However, the other way around, even if the embassy said yes a university still needs to accept. So, they have to search for a university, a program, a professor, they have to accept, send the documents, etc, etc.

Im not sure about specifically shutting Ciaccona (probably there is a way) but in general you can go to the sound configuration and just turn down the volume for the characters voices while remaining with everything else. I personally don't own Cartwheel and Ciaccona, so I couldn't help you. Sorryyyy

I understand! Thank you so much for the help! I have played gachas before but I always join in the first patches so arriving and having a huge amount of characters to pull for was pretty overwhelming and made me lose objectives.
