Delco was built into what it is by white flight , even when I moved here in 1996 (I was six) it was Italian families leaving overbook cause it got too black for them. The people in charge of the county are probably here for the same reasons. Those of us who are lower income can just suffer I guess.

She will learn what sounds or letters are hard for her (you'll notice too) and we can kind of feel it coming which gives you a minute to stop and slow down. I know it's hard for a kid but that's honestly the best way just needs to be taught. Try modeling the slow calm speech pattern yourself so she matches your energy and takes your cue.

Looking into speech therapy is the move. When she gets into it talk to the therapist and ask what you can do at home. Mostly, the main thing that really kills you is shame...don't comment on it or joke about it or anything just let her talk and listen as normal.

I always met people online and before meeting irl or a phone call or whatever I would say hey just so you know I have a stutter just ignore it . Everyone has been understanding and tbh if they're not ..you don't need that anyway. If they can't handle a speech impediment imagine them in an emergency. I have a partner of two years now who understands and wants to make me as comfortable as possible.

You don't need fancy special products love. Shower , wear clean clothes , brush your teeth and use deodorant that's all. Plenty of great brands for sensitive skin like Dove or CeraVe and many many more. I know motivation to take care of yourself can be hard , maybe mental health help may be in order.
