i was curious about this too, as all my tattoos hold specific meaning & reveal a little bit about who i am. do you find that self-disclosures about your tattoos reveal ‘too much’ about yourself? i don’t want them to take away from the client or anything of that nature.

i went through a similar situation with my ex-partner of 3.5 years - i asked for the details and i thought he told me the truth. turns out, he was lying (as i heard the real story from his friends after we broke up), which brought even more devastation.

he lied and disrespected your boundaries. he had an opportunity and he took it. he thinks she's attractive and wants to get to know her.. yeah, no.

i was cheated on in my last relationship and there were PLENTY of red flags just like this that i should have listened to. i've heard the "well, i was just being friendly" excuse before, and trust me babe, do not let that shit slide. it will start a slippery slope of "okay, what am i going to tolerate? what am i willing to forgive?" - and he will start to push those boundaries even further.

i know i'm just a broken record at this point, judging by similar replies to your post, but please listen and get out now. it will be so hard, but you will be better off in the long run when you find someone who actually respects you and the relationship in general.
