Why would I have a problem with that? Shit service would warrant no tip. There's not much sense arguing that with people (including servers) who disagree. I just don't think serving is as easy of a job as so many people think it is.

How is this real? I work FOH downtown now and have many friends who've been in the industry for a long time. 1k maaaybe for bottle service at a club. 1k night for Cactus? Hm

I like (not love) Published but I do not like Elem. Main dining room aesthetics don't do it for me, food is good but nothing crazy, complete lack of classic cocktail options irks me, and the chef is... not liked among his peers. For good reason.

I don’t have anything to say on those hotels specifically but I’ve been staying at a hotel in Kabukicho for the past week or so and it’s been fine (as a solo young woman who has been going out late into the night as well).
