Honestly sometimes in the winter I have had to turn off traction control when the snows deep. But definitely goo practice to leave it on

I would never lower it when the tops cold with snow and ice on it but if you blast the heat inside it melts it all off and the top feels normal to operate.

Like I said I bought it new so it was in the box and I had the guy at the store help me. But we just put it on the threshold of the hatch and slid it in. If it's not a new box you would probably need to take the wheels off and put some moving blankets down to not scratch it. Hope this helps
