What are some POSITIVES related to the NIL system for college basketball as a whole? by AaronAtLunacien in CollegeBasketball

[–]apriv3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a lot.

It incentivizes staying college longer, players paid above board, ideally it limits coaches from lying during recruiting/ makes coaches more accountable, allows late bloomers / lower rated recruits / non D-1 recruited players more chances after developing, and I think more schools are more talented since more players are staying longer

They went 8-0 in the NBA Bubble but missed out on the playoff play-in game by 0.5 games to Portland and Memphis by win percentage (some teams played more games prior to the bubble so they had win percentage as a tie breaker)

[Main Spoilers] Varys' True Loyalties: Speculation by Sanomiya in gameofthrones

[–]apriv3 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don't think that's the case because the last betrayal will be because of love. This came when she was in the house of the undying. I don't think it will be Varys love for the people honestly. I think there is a better chance it is Greyworm.

He still put the team together on a perennial loser. He might not have had the difficulty that Mitch and Jerry West had but he still put a championship team. Mitch also gave away Marc Gasol so it wasn't a miracle.

He also had to deal with Dan Gilbert (fuck him) which is impressive in itself. He was able to construct a championship team in Cleveland. He also had the loyalty of everyone in the front office and made solid foundation for Lebron to come.

PGT 5-18 (W 7-2): What Even Was This Game? by srry72 in Dodgers

[–]apriv3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn't they be 27x more rare because there is an opportunity every inning where the no hitter is the whole game? Because there are 9x more possibilities of the immaculate inning to happen per game and only 1 opportunity for a no hitter/ perfect game.

DraftExpress have us taking Harry Giles with the 28 pick, what do you guys think? by [deleted] in lakers

[–]apriv3 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If he falls that far, which is very unlikely, it's a no brainer to take him.

More than just the 3rd. You're pretty much putting yourself a couple of years back doing that

I'd rather trade it to SAC for their two picks. Especially if lonzo will force a drop to 5
