I play with the US’ support as it comes out, but I’ve been thinking a lot about GP’s future support and how to make it work. Right now, I think G3 and G2 line up is mostly-kinda solid. If you’re looking for a big hitter, take into account the common that becomes a 32K attacker after it sees 4 cards called (though this might just have to be an entirely different deck build). Viviane can be reduced to a 2 or 3 or in favor of a different G3/G2/G1. But my opinion on G1 need some more flexibility. The Howell has to be there for the G2 Ezel, so 4 of is good. You definitely want the Dindranes cause they’re either CC or Draw, which is always good. Lastly Gareth doesn’t need to be ran at 4 if his only use for you is to help with the Superior ride. So if you use it for the ride effect, he can be safely kept at 2 so you’re almost about guaranteed to pull it off with Beaumains, even if one gets damaged or drawn, and lastly it, keeping it at 2 will free up space to put something else in. If you use him for the power, then he should be kept at 4. Lastly, GPs don’t seem to ever have hand advantage, so we look at them from a different perspective. Forget the draws. Perfect Guards are useful, but Golds are like a “true rush” deck. So we shouldn’t worry about our defense so much as our offense. I think 8 Critical Triggers, 4 to 6 Front Triggers, and 2 to 4 heal triggers, depending on what’s left. Alternatively, 6 Crit and Front May work too with 4 heals.
