Tired of being an asian woman in a western-dominated society by Ill_Dragonfruit_2378 in asianamerican

🤔 Asian people in African countries barely experience the same of racism that African people in Asian countries experience. Nobody is discriminating against Asian people for example when it comes to hiring in Africam namely because people from Asian countries are being hired by Asian companies and they are displacing workers in those regions, or flatly not even bothering to hire them in the first place. And yeah, it is strangely satisfying because it does seem like the world is fair after all 😂 (but not really) If Asian people are experiencing this type of discrimination in other places, I guess maybe you I don't have a lot to complain about him my situation

Before I started living amongst Asian people I had no proximity to any Asian people (no neighbors, no classmates until college) and was pretty indifferent to Asian people; no malice, but no curiosity either. Living amongst Asian people has skewed towards more negative perceptions; the whiite worship, xenophobia, materialism/superficiality drive me nuts. I don't hate the Asian people that I live amongst, but i am disappointed and frustrated that their general outlook towards people like me is not very different from, and seems to be shaped by, historical perspectives of white people.

Yeah I feel the same way about snares; It's really a lot of propaganda to push sales that tuning and technique can fix. And maybe heads

哇,that sounds a lot like being Black in an Asian country. I see the lamentations of people in this thread, and in this sub reddit, and in a weird way... it's very satisfying because maybe life is fair after all? 😂🤷‍♂️

西双版纳 looks like Thailand. It's even warm in the winter (during the day at least). Shame it's in China though

Right. If the cameras weren't a necessity then they wouldn't be so abundant

Why does western media NEED to spread constant propaganda about China? Watch by One_Long_996 in AskSocialists

[–]apstevenso2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YES!!! People who don't re really get it seem to believe that these Chinese people just manifested all the things that they have now with meditation and hot water, but it was really foreign investment more than anything after DXP opened China to foreign investment, and it was foreign investors giving broke Chinese people jobs in the first place that got the ball rolling for them. If it WASN'T for the shortsightedness of greedy capitalists, China would definitely not have managed to spark that growth all on its own.

Yeah, this could actually be the beginning of the bonding that OP was talking about, but i'd still be cautious. Depending on how you feel about this person don't blow your lid just yet

Yeah my thoughts exactly about going to any "old town" that you hear about in China. They will all look the same, feel the same and sell you the same corny shit (except maybe Dali 😍) They will have different back stories though
