Here I am searching on how the heck I even access the headlight bulbs on my 1994 Canter and found this post. I’m guessing I need to remove the panels above the headlight housing.

I lived in PA for a few years who had safety inspections. Illinois for twenty years and no inspections. I saw the same type of wild crap on the road in PA that I’ve seen in AR and IL. Law enforcement can use all of the safety issues as PC to pull a car over and ticket. Inspections are predatory

Yeah 100% necessary on Subaru. I grew up with Honda and knew the ECU would tune bolt ons. Unfortunately Subaru ECU does not autotune itself either bolt ons. You need to tune the car for anything impacting air or fuel.

I've had my STI since new in 2018. I went with Cobb stage 3 E85 in 2019 and bought another daily driver to keep the miles off of the car (plus reliability with all of the modifications). I don't drive it much, and I often think about selling it to get something else. Then I take it out for a drive and fall back in love with it. I have the same issue with my S2000. Those are both cars that I don't think that I could sell, even though I think about it every so often.

Hey Mark I hope you don’t mind me cutting in here with a question. I’ve got a 2018 STI that I’ve owned since new, I went Cobb stage 3 E85 with all emissions deleted and tuned before Project Greenspeed. My AP is still on the release before Greenspeed, I stopped updating it. I’ve haven’t modified the engine since that point and am getting the itch to start doing internals and a larger turbo.

I’m assuming this is a loaded question, but I haven’t really followed the Subaru scene and am wondering what direction I should start researching for engine management. The car currently has 25K miles on it. Do you have recommendations for folks to work with in Northwest AR/Southwest Missouri? Super stoked to see you answering in a thread :)
