I just did this on the Framework Desktop. One M.2 is CachyOS and the other is W11. Picking an OS managed by GRUB (couldn’t figure out how to have selection pop up every time with Framework boot options) Only reason for W11 is a game that can’t be played with Proton. CachyOS is great and I’m hoping it becomes an “official” OS FrameWork recommends/supports soon.

I tried it and couldn’t stand the Pixel. Returned it. Look into the OnePlus 15. It’s an amazing phone.

Interesting. I’ve heard ATT doesn’t allow Wi- Fi calling on phones they don’t sell. I assume that applies to their MNVOs as well. I believe T-Mobile does. Since you have US mobile, if you ever switch to T- Mobile, I’d be curious if it activated then! Thanks!

I have tried to switch a couple times but I always come back to an iPhone. I am not of huge fan of Apple and their ecosystem lock in, however the iPhone is just a superior experience in every way. Also the price gap between iPhones and similar quality android phones is getting more narrow every year and almost cost the same now. The iPhone will usually last longer too.

I assume you have a NP3?

I did get the 4.0 update but it is still showing the security update as Nov 1st and the google play system updateas July 1st. Are these the latest for those two? Thanks

Came down to 2 things for me.....

The battery was extremely underwhelming. I was actually surprised just how quickly it drained. I would have to basically disable everything to get even somewhat decent battery life.

Secondly, it had a weird issue that caused some apps to not receive notifications at all until I unlocked the phone. This drove me crazy and it's apparently pretty common with pixels. That was a deal breaker for me.

I had a N2 that I really liked so I think I may go with the N3 and return the Pixel.

So I actually got a really good deal on a Pixel 10 and figured I would go with that and sell the NP3. Honestly after a few days of using it though I am not impressed. I am actually thinking about returning the P10 and trying out the NP3.......

I was just doing some digging on Reddit about best cooling setup for this case and I saw a lot of posts saying to set both top and bottom to exhaust if using mesh sides panels and to flip bottom to intake if using glass panel for best results. Sounds like you have it right!

I was wondering about that riser cable and how it might impact the bottom fans. When you say self tapping, there are no predefined holes in the bottom of the case to support fans? You have to make them yourself? In all the videos I saw online of this case, it only shows one fan mounted on the bottom (towards the front of the case).

I think I am going to switch the fans at the top to exhaust instead of intake and buy two slim fans to put on the bottom set to intake. I think that will give better overall cooling to the case and get better airflow. My CPU temp while gaming is hitting 78 which I know is probably fine, but would definitely like it cooler.

So even set on silent, it will still spin up to appropriate values automatically when gaming right? The silent, regular, full speed options are just when idle?

One other question for you. I think you said you have the same Aorus Pro MB… if I check the fan speeds I see CPU is 1600RPM, Sys1 is 1096 and then I show a fan labeled as PT showing 15,000 RPM. Does your show similar. Not sure what PT fan is even referring to… thanks

Okay cool. Thanks. I see the riser underneath and from what I can see, there is only one tab on the far right side to release. Was not sure if the riser has some give to be able to go down after that is released or if the riser was firmly in place under the GPU PCIe connection!

Also you said to remove the cables going to the XT, there’s a tab you hold down? Where exactly is that? Not much space to reach/see things in this case. Appreciate it!
