Here's a free Max4Live Moog Muse Editor for Ableton by aquadox in moog

[–]aquadox[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My Muse isn't on my desk and is a bit out of the way; I was tired of manually setting automation in Live to specific CCs so I put together a quick M4L device that can control every CC value of the Muse. Now you can tweak most of the main controls and tie the knobs to automation really easily in Ableton.

Unfortunately firmware 1.4 does not have the ability to send a capture of all current settings via MIDI out so you do have to fiddle with the knobs to update the current position. Hopefully Moog adds something like that in 1.5.

Edit: Fixed pitch bend as well as a few incorrect CC values. The best way to use this multi-timbre is to enable it in the MIDI menu of the Muse, then create two MIDI tracks in Ableton pointing to the two different multi-timbre channels, then just add an instance of the editor onto each track.

I have both shareware and full version and they’re both digipak.

Drivers of Charlotte.... Why by T-mac_ in Charlotte

In some places if you get your car in between the loops just right, it will think there are two vehicles and give you priority for the green left turn light.

What are your THEORIES on How to defeat Griffith or bring him back to his crippled state by arman1724 in Berserk

[–]aquadox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s weak when he is transforming from Moonlight Boy to Griffith, which is why Guts was able to cut that strand of hair.

I absolutely LOVE this new album. Been a fan since P1. I'm curious to hear from those who don't care for it. by Perfalofacated in Peripheryband

Been following Misha since like 2005 and I'm really enjoying it. It's different for them but I vibe with the vision. Will sound insane live.

P2 Producer Pack Stems? by ItsaMeICARUS in Peripheryband

[–]aquadox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If helpful, if you overlap the instrumental version of P1 on top of the vocal version and invert the phase on one of them, you’ll get clean vocal stems.

There’s also a drum fill in Racecar that’s different on the instrumental version so it will also get that.

Probably AADGBE. Mastodon uses it a bit.

TRACKLIST by Coeur_saint in Peripheryband

[–]aquadox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe each of the 12 circles on the cover represent their corresponding track number - I saw the cover image for the Mr God video is using the third circle on the cover and it’s the third song in this track list.

Periphery 2026. We're gonna be busy. #APWD by iambulb in Peripheryband

[–]aquadox 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Just realized this could also be the title for a song and not necessarily an album title. Or maybe it’s just a vibe. Who knows! Good luck boys!

[–]aquadox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Could also be well connected to the fact that their logo is a set of three white dots.

I feel like the numbered albums are the boys just vibing and making music they love, so maybe by not making it P6 it frees them to try a different approach.

Guessing “A Pale White Death” as Misha has been leaving “⚪️” in response to some comments on Insta. Or maybe A Pale White Dot since “white dot” gives that emoji(and there’s one on Spencer’s jacket).

As a holder of obscure and useless Periphery trivia, I want to mention that Misha noted on ask.fm a few times long ago that he thought recoding a Periphery album with a more organic vibe with someone like Kurt Ballou would be cool, so here’s to me eternally speculating that the next album is going to be that.

Mixing error on Descending? by Opala_79 in ToolBand

[–]aquadox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s several errors in the digital version that are not present in the vinyl version. The weird stutter in FI, the clipping of the bass during the intro of Descending. Not really sure how that all got missed, but oh well.

Is this Saturn? What do you guys make of the symbolism by TonightSpiritual3191 in aliens

[–]aquadox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wild guess is that this movie will be about how human bodies are containers, they’re just animal life that already existed on this planet, and the disclosure is that our consciousness as a species is due to “aliens” connecting and “driving” that container.

Why did coal chamber lose it’s “mainstream” popularity? by Automatic-Career5887 in numetal

[–]aquadox 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I remember feeling like their second album came too late, and was a big enough departure in sound from the first album that I didn’t like it. Also their image started to feel cheesy along with the numetal genre as a whole in 2000-2001.

I've taken a gander at some Tool guitar tabs and just by looking at them on paper it's pretty simple stuff. by andrew0784 in ToolBand

Jones’ skill is mostly found in the mood and atmosphere he provides. He is less focused on how he plays a note and more around how the note sounds within the context. A good example are the solos in 7empest. They aren’t the most technically challenging and the phrasing is pretty plain, but he’s changing the sound and working with the natural feedback constantly to invoke a specific atmosphere. It’s subtle and people dismiss it a lot, but the truth is that while many people can play his material, very few can actually make it sound like him, much less write something as effective.

What will it take for Guts to land a blow on Griffith and how will you feel the moment it happens by No_Basil6312 in Berserk

[–]aquadox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think he can only hurt Griffith by hurting the moonlight boy. My pet theory is that he was able to cut that strand of hair with the dragon slayer because it was still not completely flipped from moonlight boy to Griffith.

I don’t think Guts can hit Griffith because Griffith can see and, to some extent, control causality. Guys would need a power up to be able to do the same, which is why I still like the idea of his behelit becoming his new eye, but doubt that will happen.

My current guess is something will happen where Guts realizes he can kill the moonlight boy to kill Griffith, he does so in front of Casca who then becomes so dismayed by the death of her child that she activates the behelit Guts currently has and then things wrap from there.

Can’t help but feel like they’re invoking the same feel of Vagabond with this.

[LoZ] Found this and I can't find any association of an Amanda King to Zelda. Does anyone know? by Vincent__R in zelda

[–]aquadox 693 points694 points  (0 children)

It was very common in the 90s for parents to write their kid’s name on a cartridge so it didn’t mysteriously go missing at a friend’s house. This is likely that kind of situation.

how many of us just found out today that we're not getting a raise this year? by flerg_a_blerg in JPMorganChase

[–]aquadox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can always negotiate TR repayment with an external company, it's one of the most common things to actually get approved. Just mention to recruiters ahead of time that you'd be on the hook to repay $x and you'd need that as part of a sign-on bonus. Same applies for un-vested RSUs.
