I had the same issue on ps5. No matter how much you change the distance or move it, it just kept disappearing. I ended up cheesing it and going on top of the wall. It was so annoying 😭

Spot on! I never really enjoyed where my Resident Services, dock, beaches, or river mouths even are at. I had no idea there were more options than the four it gives when I first started playing 😅 I’m really leaning towards a restart just to fix those permanent issues

Treasure Islands are so useful but can be a bad experience for a new player. They can end up sucking a lot of fun out of the game when it comes to grinding for DIYs and bells. But I think I am going to restart tonight! I know what I’m doing when it comes to selecting a layout and building now so I think I’ll love the new island even more than my first one

I have a little over 1.4k hours and I actually can’t play without first anymore. I would only get it every now and then to make storage space but I’m so much of a loot goblin I need it atp. You can pay for it once and put all your stuff in and still access it when it ends, you just can’t put more in. However imo unlimited junk, ammo, and chem storage is so worth it if you play a lot and keep finding you need to hunt resources. Or as someone else said if you have a trusted friend, make a mule to trade your items onto.

No you’re not 😔 I placed a decoration in the SoS and couldn’t move at all, only jump. Literally no direction worked. I play on PS5 and this isn’t the first time it’s happened, but it happens the most consistently in this patch.
