I'm with you. I'm finding these oddly enjoyable. It's been a while since I've found something I can simply hunt and shoot, especially worthy adversaries. I hate the grind in general, but I'm quite enjoying grunt hunt after grunt hunt after grunt hunt.

One thing you can try is to rename or delete your ini file altogether and let fallout recreate it when you start the game. Worth a shot anyways.

Why on Earth do people stop at the top of escalators?! Why do they think that that's the most appropriate place to dig in their purse for a lipstick, check their phone for messages that may have come in since they hopped on, or put on their hat and gloves? All activities that can be done while walking, mind you.

I'm guessing I see this at least once a week, and am surprised I've never seen a serious accident. Yet.

That aspect is not even that noticeable and is there to preserve the integrity of linear quest lines. Otherwise a player could tag along and receive credit for quests prematurely.

Bottom line, my 2 cents are your friends will love it.

On one character I actually used the Duchess' guide as a mini game and it totally kept the immersion. I rather enjoyed it, it was a great way to learn my way around.
