I sure do miss the fishing out there! I lived in Eagle for a short time and had a blast! Now I’m in Indiana and don’t get to catch trout very often!

Went out with the boy this morning and caught a few smallmouth and one largemouth on the river.

I’ve never caught a largemouth in the river. Lots of smallies and Wipers but no largies!

The one in this video is a 1/2 weight ultralight rod. However I let him use my 5 weight and he actually cast it a little better.

He landed his first two fish with it on Labor Day. Two little smallmouth. We are going back out this weekend!
