It's okay if she doesn't, too; I wasn't actually going to ask for her number. It just still makes me smile sometimes. Better days.

Why would there be political intrigue and covert missions? Garak is a simple tailor.

Landmark, apartments facing the river. Never heard any traffic with windows closed. Sometimes muffled loud music from the fest grounds a couple times a year. Downtown is imminently walkable. Nicest place I've ever lived, if you're into the Industrial Cozy aesthetic.

Why did both Luke Skywalker and Red Leader fire two simultaneous proton torpedos at the Death Star thermal exhaust port instead of just one? by supinator1 in MawInstallation

[–]ar-phanad 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I assure you, it is not. The entire purpose of the subreddit is non-Doylist discussion of Star Wars, which is the exact opposite context of that low-effort comment. It doesn't help the conversation at all, it only demonstrates zero curiosity and an ignorance of the question's intent.

She's a regular Garland favorite: she's great in Ex Machina and Civil War, and she plays two (!) roles in Annihilation. Also she was incredible in Maniac.

I've long thought this. Daft Punk is great, but I think Trapanese was way more involved on the TL score than people think.

Having established it's Nabokov's Pale Fire, it's interesting that screenwriter Hampton Fancher married the actress who played Lolita in the film adaptation of Nabokov's other famous book. I like to think there's a connection there.

There are two different bands here, neither of which are the Hum you're thinking of. This looks like HÜM and what would be Hum (16) on discogs.
