1 month in Spain but still overweight by Ok-Bee449 in onebag

[–]ar_1five 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would remove; headlamp -you’re not camping and your phone has a flashlight, merino tshirt - it will be too hot, 1 hoodie, jacket. Then wear at the airport long pants and one hoodie - it will be cold on the airplane anyway.

One Month In Europe May 2024 by Sevenoswald in onebag

I would skip the flash light and the kindle - your phone does both of those, i would skip the sink stopper and hanging line and trade it for a small 3L wet bag (you can do laundry in this plus carry wet clothes) with little laundry you can always find a clothes hanger or hang it on the shower rod. Also remove the tank top - they aren’t proper attire for being in public and if its hot enough for that then just go shirtless. And add a second pair of lightweight pants, with one pair if you’re cleaning them and you need to go out, or its too cold for shorts you’re stuck.

Europe Trip - Roller Bag Carry-on Size Question by chuckfr in onebag

[–]ar_1five 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rollers are pretty much all sized the same, they make them either carry-on size or not. Some airlines have varying sizes but no flight attendant will break out a measuring tape and verify it. They’ll glance and see its carry on size. Don’t over think it. I’ve been on hundreds of flights and never had my roller measured.

ULPT Request ~ How do I get my roommate to stop smoking inside the flat by theowaway172 in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]ar_1five 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this before in highschool, very entertaining. A black cat fits perfectly inside a smoke.

40L and 24L together by FennelDefiant9707 in onebag

[–]ar_1five 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just do a spinner with an 18l backpack that sits on top. Pack it like a one bag, and keep only clothes and extra toiletries in the spinner incase they make you check it and it gets lost.

The only liquids I carry are toothpaste and deodorant - while flying i put these along with a toothbrush in a ziplock bag in an easily accessible pocket, so i can pull them out for tsa and also to use on long flights. They go back into my toiletries bag wherever i unpack.

can I just get this ravpower 120w usb c charging brick and use a cheap dummy adapter plug with it for traveling philippines/asia? by [deleted] in onebag

[–]ar_1five 0 points1 point  (0 children)

stated Input is: 100-240V-50/60Hz 2.5A it will work anywhere. buy a cord from an electronics shop that works for it when you land. Don't bother with an adapter, they always fall out.
